83 yards on 19 rushes with 41 of those coming at once is not good.

I don't even have to acknowledge that there was a 41 yard run in there for the numbers to look bad.

Guys I would like to see less of:

1. Patrick Towles. He is wildly inaccurate and makes awful decisions. Wade is clearly the better player
2. Jon Hilliman - He is as elusive as a walrus. He's ridiculously slow and the definition of gain what's blocked what's in front of him
3. Mike Walker - Thadd Smith gets open and actually catches the ball. Walker looks drunk when running a pass route
4. Jimmy Lowry - Go away, you are approaching Dudeck level of bad
5. The Entire Secondary - Please cover someone, anyone

This game was useless and BC looked awful. Hat-tip to DGF for bringing gin.

This game was only valuable as a developmental step. Clearly we learned a lot of our flaws in the first 3 weeks. The next two weeks are about practicing some of the solutions to those flaws. Clemson will show us how far we've come. Nothing else matters from today other than did we start working on flaws and did the OL get even a little bit better. Same is true for next week.

The make or break of this season was always going to be the second half.

< 3 wins against Syracuse, NCST, UConn and Wake = Terrible Season.

4 wins against Syracuse, NCST, UConn and Wake = Decent Season.

4 + Bowl Win = Solid Season

4 cupcake wins + plus 1 upset out of Clemson, Louisville and FSU = Great Season

4+1 plus a bowl or another surprise upset = Amazing Season

It didn't at all. I won't feel better about the OL until they play against someone with a pulse. The Clemson game will be the next one that tells us anything of value, but of course we're going to get killed there. Syracuse will show us something...

As far as I'm concerned it's still just a glorified practice. Vanilla offense, vanilla defense. Work on run blocking and get the DB's to actually make plays on the ball instead of the receiver.
