i was wrong on louisville, i expected them to flame out coming into the year. helps being a halfway house masquerading as a community college

Not saying Louisville won't win, but it's still the first half. They've been in this situation before only to lose it late. But Lamar Jackson is tough to stop and perhaps this is their year.

A couple of things to note:
Matty Ice and BC was part of the trivia question - Last ACC regular season matchup between two top ten teams not involving FSU (2007 - BC vs. VT)

Despite the crappy schedule, BC may have two top ten teams come to Alumni this year.

last time they came might've been the coldest i can remember a game at alumni in the last decade, it was also the game where i had the highest bac. probable corrolation

Tennessee is struggling with Ohio. I have an irrational hatred of Tennessee, so I'm enjoying their struggles from that perspective, but it also makes me feel a little bit better about the BC game this afternoon. And now that I've thought that, I'm bracing myself for BC getting bent over this afternoon. Fridge is stocked with beer.

Another game management blunder if you ask me. UVA with 1st and goal with 45 seconds and no TO's and they call a run play, which gets stuffed. Then they burn a down to clock the ball. Incomplete on 3rd down and a missed FG.

Is it that hard to strategize the clock? Take 3 shots at the endzone for the win. If you want to run with 45 seconds left, fine, but you better have a pass play already cued up for 2nd down with like 20 seconds left if you fail. That way you still get 3 shots at the endzone before a FG attempt.

Too bad we don't get UVa this year. Would've really improved our chances to end this ACC-defeat streak...

Anyone watch Utah and Kyle Wittingham play to win tonight? 4th and 1 three times... Utah went for it all 3 times (once when they risked losing the game instead of kicking the game tying field goal) but they got 'em all! And they win. Why can't we get a coach like that????
