Unless they are able to hire someone a dynamic persona and proven manager, I think they should just give it to York. If they are going down the old boys network, I still like Boo Carrigan. If they are going the BC alum route, VCU's AD would be great.

Nonetheless, before we even fire Bates, something has to be done at an institutional level where the President is simply not involved and athletics instead flows to an independent Committee of the BOT. Until that happens, all changes will be non-consequential.

NO, no & no. What kind of fool would think Golden would work well at BC? The only current head coaches (at the D1 level) that would take the BC job right now are Daz types that nobody else wants. We need a current assistant like the Houston hire. Two retreads I would consider would be Kiffin and Briles.
