He's not getting fired, there is an absolutely 0% chance.

They're going to win some games this year

Does beating only Wake, Yukon, Syracuse, Buffalo, UMass, and Wagner let you keep your job? I think not.

They will win some games. One less than they should have won.

It absolutely does. Add NCST for 7 and a bowl game for 8

For Daz? Almost certainly. There isn't a real question if he wins 6

He can't win a single close game. I don't think out 17 tight end recruits for next year are going to make anything better, either.

He's not getting fired. We will win enough. That is not a bad thing. If he were to get fired this year, Bates would be involved in the process and the list would be recycled.

So are you saying Bates is on the way out?

I believe this is the last year of his contract

Don Brown is our best and most realistic option. Daz is never going to have a winning season overall, forget about in the ACC. This program is the worst in the ACC and It's going to take a lot to turn it around. They lost to a very bad GT team who will probably fire Paul Johnson after next season. The triple option is a complete joke of an offense.

What is the benefit of bringing Daz back? His offense is boring which kills ticket sales and his in game coaching drives fans from their seats. Fours years is a fair amount of time to judge him.

If our best realistic replacement to Daz is Don Brown, then I hope we keep Daz until that is no longer our best realistic option. You promoting Don Brown will have the same ultimate outcome as your previous promoting of Frank Spaziani.

Frank Spaziani winning percentage at BC, FBS opponents: 18 wins, 29 losses = 38.3%
Steve Addazio winning percentage at BC, FBS opponents: 13 wins, 22 losses = 37.1%

Frank Spaziani winning percentage at BC, ACC opponents: 13 wins, 19 losses = 40.6%
Steve Addazio winning percentage at BC, ACC opponents: 8 wins, 17 losses = 32.0%

I was never for promoting Spaz, but Brown has been very successful at every stop and he is in our price range. He built a great defense in just 3 years.

This coach and his joke of an offense managed an Orange Bowl appearance and a top-10 finish in 2010, and an Orange Bowl win and a top-10 finish just two seasons ago. Why is he getting fired?

GT keeps changing ADs, so that probably helps keep Johnson safe. But he is not well liked among their fans. He's kind of an A-hole in the Charlie Weis mode. He's pissed off a lot of boosters and High School coaches. Back to back bad seasons would kill any remaining goodwill.

Corners, don't let ATL talk you out of your love of Third Down Donnie Brown. He's pushing back on your suggestion because he represents the biggest threat to HCRD being a reality.

They're not going to suck enough to fire Paul Johnson. The rest of that division is an atrocity

Usually, you pick a coach who is opposite of what you just had. But, if we are willing to go the former-Florida-coordinator-route, Bob Stoops will be available.

Miss St knew this would be a big rebuilding year, and they don't have the history others do. Fleck's not coming because of personal issues.

I would be more interested in Drevno then Brown if we're going for a Michigan coordinator. I've been pushing Willie Taggart and if he has another good year at USF, he should get a shot. His successor at WKU, Jeff Brohm, should get consideration.

BC installing that WKU offense would be quite the task
