DB is a Mass native who has turned losing programs into winning programs where ever he has been. He is a proven winner who knows BC and is the most realistic candidate for the job.

The program is at the bottom of the ACC with GT and UVA. Season ticket sales are horrible and trending down. Leahy hates sports, Daz is a complete idiot and he will never have a winning ACC season. This program is totally fucked until there are major personnel changes and a 180 from the BOT, all of which are very unlikely to happen.

Pasqualoni seems like a likely candidate given BC's tendencies.

The BOT will pick the next president. It will be up to them if they decide on a Jesuit or a layperson. However, if BC wants another Jesuit, the Order will get involved in helping to identify a small list of candidates who are ready for consideration.

Pasqualoni is 67 now and got fired at UConn and Syracuse. Even with our provincial thinking, he's not getting the job.

HCRD, Donnie Brown, JB3, Diaco would all be on the list if a search is being conducted in the next 3 months. Would have to assume Brian VanGorten would also get a look based on his ND defenses the past two years.

Only a sea change at the university level would provide a list that went beyond previous error-filled searches or failed coaching trees.

Diaco is Addazio's effeminate coaching clone and would probably cost more despite equally bad results in a crappier conference because he has the halo of "Notre Dame" on his resume. Hard, hard pass.

The Diaco-Addazio coaching matchup is going to be the equivalent of a Special Olympics wrestling match. Whichever coach is less retarded and drools on himself less that day will probably win.

The other dipshit is equally frightening to watch coach just on the complete other side of the spectrum. While Daz will throw his headset and blame the kids... Diaco will clap and tell his team how great they are coming off the field after giving up a touchdown. I have a hard time understanding how anyone hired these two fucks to run a football program to be honest.

Ryan Day would make sense as a mid season replacement. If Ryan Day was who we ended up with after a "national" coaching search I would have my doubts. But I do think he would be an overall net positive.

Right. To be clear, not advocating a change mid season. A change at all is probably a bad idea to (unfortunately). FHCRD seems best equipped to fill the role of that scenario plays out.

Would it be a game changer if Pasqualoni grew a mustache? That seems to be a major requirement to be the HC of BC football. :ace

I am advocating against Day. Name another Power 5 team for which he would be a candidate.

I'll advocate for Day. He's young, smart, gets BC and has been successful along with NFL connections.
