This is straight from the Northwestern playbook. They have signs all over Evanston and Chicago touting themselves as "Chicago's Big Ten Team."

Alumni is way better than Ryan field, but the ease of tailgating at Ryan is way, way way better.

I could not agree more on the admission problem that is hurting BC's local image. BC use to take 50% of its students from Mass, now that is down to 25%. At least increase it to 33%, it will not hurt our national ranking.

With all of the emphasis on BC's Irish roots, why not have the team wear Kelly Green jerseys for the GT game with Boston Irish on the front. The Boston Irish built BC and an annual founders day game with an Irish theme including the green jerseys would be something to put some life into the current dull game day atmosphere.
