W - Sep. 24 - Wagner -This game isn't as bad as the Howard game, but it is nearly as bad. QB controversy still brews.
W - Oct. 1 - Buffalo - Buffalo's offense struggles to do much against our defense and we win again, with offense even looking respectable, at certain points, if you squint your eyes and sort of tilt your head. Resident morons convince themselves that we can beat Clemson in a "trap game."
L - Oct. 7 - Clemson - The highlight of this game for BC fans is the closing whistle. Student section enters stadium in 2nd quarter, looks at scoreboard, and immediately turns and leaves. Addazio uses the phrase "Rome wasn't built in a day" in the postgame.
W - Oct. 22 - Syracuse - For the first time since Olivier Hanlan beat Georgia Tech with a baseline jumper in the 2014-15 ACC tournament, we have won a conference game. A wacky and wild affair. Claims are heard that reaching a bowl would constitute a successful season. Funishment attempts to make joke about "moving goalposts" and our kicking game, but it is poorly executed and falls flat.
L - Oct. 29 - @NCST - BC goes on the road and lays an Eagle-sized egg against the "dark horse" of the ACC. No one is happy. Bates signs Addazio to an extension and plants story in A Jersey Guy suggesting he deserves plaudits for "buying low." Because no one subscribes to the Blauds site, no one reads story.
L - Nov. 5 - Louisville - Hoping to save season and get fans to show up, Bates does the red bandana game in November. A hard fought game is lost in the final minutes. Addazio tells us postgame that he's very proud of how his youth-laden team plays, and warns us to mark his words that we're right on schedule to compete for an ACC championship in 3 more years.
L - Nov. 11 - @ FSU - With only the diehards even continuing to watch, with all the pundits having written us off, in a game no one expects us to win ... we come out and get beaten soundly. Run, run, pass is employed with such regularity that our offense rates as more predictable than an episode of Teletubbies.
W - Nov. 19 - UConn - UConn's team is made up of the players we would have taken if our actual players had committed somewhere else. Diaco says something bizarre in the week leading up to the game and many jokes are made at his expense.
W - Nov. 26 - @ Wake Forest - Bowl eligibility is ensured in a game so ugly that it is mocked nationally. Confidence in a 10-2 year in 2017 amongst the fanbase is unshakable.

Bowl Game: BC gets matched up against some good team from a bad conference and loses. Thus the world spins madly ever ownward...

Win bowl game 9-4

Harold Landry is the first since Keeks to leave school early and is drafted first two rounds. A healthy Hilliman scores around 15 TD's with 1200+ yards with Jeff Smith being our leading WR. Another top 15 defense this year. Landry, Milano, Strachan, Moore, Gutapel, Hilliman, Lindstrom all could find spots on the All-ACC team.

Going 6-6 (2-6) really is Daz's destiny, but I think he'll fuck it up and lose to UConn because he wants us to suffer. He'll blame the failure to get bowl-eligible on giving up a home game to play in Dublin.
