L - Sep. 3 - vs. GT- Despite our defense being ready for the GT offense, BC's OLine shows minimal progress from '15 and the O can't get anything going
W Sep. 10 - @ UMass - The "road" game at Gillette starts off slow, but by halftime BC has a decent enough lead that it holds through a boring second half
L - Sep. 17 - @ VT - Loeffler goes back to get one more loss at Lane stadium under his belt.
W - Sep. 24 - Wagner - Not quite Howard 2015 level, but enough offense to let both QBs get some scores and not give any clarity to a now muddled QB battle after a 1-2 start
W - Oct. 1 - Buffalo - Boring game that seems close on the scoreboard, but Buffalo never really had a shot vs the BC defense
L - Oct. 7 - Clemson - Biggest excitement for BC fans is the tailgate as Clemson dominates under the Friday night lights
W - Oct. 22 - Syracuse - Another frustratingly close Syracuse game that BC almost chokes away
W - Oct. 29 - @NCST - Finally things seem to click on the offensive side and the win by a safe margin gives some confidence heading into the next two tough games
L - Nov. 5 - Louisville - BC hangs for one quarter and then falls flat as Louisville wins big
L - Nov. 11 - @ FSU - Another Friday night massacre, this time in Florida
W- Nov. 19 - UConn - Diaco does nothing to make us feel like we missed out by not hiring him
W - Nov. 26 - @ Wake Forest - A win, and more than 3 points combined on the scoreboard

L- Independence Bowl vs Kentucky- Towles goes out with a L against his old team and Addazio hangs on by getting back to having an ok year yet still no bowl win to show for it

Final Record: 7 - 6 (3-5)

5 of them on the offensive line 2 years ago (the best O-Line in BC history) was all it took to dominate a defensive line with 2 future NFL linemen on it (one a 4-star recruit, the other a 5-star), to the tune of 460 yards of rushing offense....

wait...what?

WTF do you mean... wait... what? Lets see if Antwaun Woods makes the roster in Tennessee. He has a shot (slim though it may be.)

I believe Koppen, Columbo and Zukauskas were on the same line. I also believe Columbo and Zukauskas were on lines with Woody, Brezenski and Alford.

Or Hoffman, Ross, Snee, Trueblood and Beekman.

Hoffman, Koppen, Snee, Parenteau and Bell

Beekman, Marten, Ross, Cherilus, Trueblood.

Excellent lines all....

...but none would have given 3 true frosh and one sophomore tailback, sufficient collective downfield blocks, to generate 460 yards rushing vs USC. Remember those same tailbacks did SQUAT last year Teddy. It was ALL the line in 2014, the same line that had to perform that much better given they lost the #1 tailback in the country to graduation a year earlier!

We use to have amazing OL. It's really incredible how far we fell from that. Hopefully, last year was the bottom.

That is not a very smart comment. I don't see a whole lot of "professional writing skilz" there, Teddy. I suppose you are drunk again?

7-5, with any possible 8th win coming @ Virginia Tech. At NC State between Syracuse and Louisville is going to be a massive snoozer, empty stadium at 12pm. Daz teams never show up for those games. They'll at least have some energy at Tech.

Only a battalion of FOOLS would make predictions without first waiting for the redshirts for the year to be declared.

courtesy of the Reverend Mike
"Yea and verily, on this day, in the presence of Vicar Leahy and the LORD, it shall be declared that hereafter, Sylvia's shirt shall be evermore considered red. And thusly, he shall don the red shirt from this day until the date is one year henceforth. Save for the wretched fire of Satan's burning touch, the red shirt of ineligibility should not and, forsooth, cannot be removed until the harvest returns and the tall grass is once again laid bare by the plowman's scythe. And lo, one year from this day, the red shirt shall be retroceded unto me, rendering said squire eligible for play on the foot-ball field. And pay heed, lest ye forget, gentle Bostonians, the words of Brother Myles: 'Ye have but five years to complete four.' Amen."

L - Sep. 3 - vs. GT – Offense just can’t get it done and defense gives up just enough to GT. Media continues the narrative of Don Brown leaving, offensive woes and the continuing ACC winless streak. Painful.
W - Sep. 10 - @ UMass – Cruising easily, but who really cares anymore?
L - Sep. 17 - @ VT – BC a big underdog going into this one, with VT coming off a well-played game against Tennessee (maybe even a win). But the defense steps up and BC takes VT to the very end, before Lane Magic steals the day for the Hokies. The ACC winless streak continues…
W - Sep. 24 - Wagner – This game shouldn’t be played. Nothing of value here.
W - Oct. 1 - Buffalo – The Bulls come out fired up against their only P5 of the year, with dreams of getting a promotion to the AAC once all the conference realignment chips fall. They put a scare in us, but we pull away in the 2nd half. With the ACC winless streak and this disappointing performance, the Fire Daz chorus is in full form. Daz is painful in press conferences.
L - Oct. 7 - Clemson – BC puts a real scare in the Clemson, taking things to the 4th quarter on the strength of solid defense and Towles showing up to play. But a loss nonetheless. ACC winless streak continues. The bye week makes this a very long and dark 2 weeks on these boards.
W - Oct. 22 - Syracuse – Defense dominates a low scoring affair. We won an ACC game!
W - Oct. 29 - @NCST – Defense plays well, but NCST scores. We surprisingly score more!
W - Nov. 5 - Louisville – In a game nobody expects us to win, the defense dominates and the OL surprisingly comes together, starting to look like the OL Daz has been promising us. The upset costs Louisville a shot at the Atlantic. 3 game ACC winning streak and Daz starts to strut.
L - Nov. 11 - @ FSU – The media hype this game, with BC a sudden underdog favorite to play spoiler for a second week in a row. But despite a good defensive performance we’re never in this one.
W - Nov. 19 - UConn – Daz’s makes a big thing out of this. Blowout. First getting passed on by the Big12 and now this: Husky tears all over the place.
W - Nov. 26 - @ Wake Forest – Revenge game. Defense dominates and offense gets the job done this year.
W - Military Bowl vs. Navy – Global warming gives us nice weather in December. A decent crowd makes the trip and we play well. Daz’s job is secure, there’s legitimate optimism for 2017 by some, but Daz's record against the ACC baby rapists infuriates others.

No WTF this year. Could anything except Wagner be a WTF?

6-6 or worse and Daz should be canned.

Bowl?

After TOB, I cant really give a shit about Bowls, but we will get a crappy one. I'll go with Military Bowl. (I wanted to say Birmingham but will be optimistic.)
9-3

Is that a win or loss in the Military Bowl? 9-4 or 10-3?

Bowls are used as a tiebreaker in this little useless contest, but mostly my OCD hates empty columns in the spreadsheet. So thank you!

With that said ILikeBC, innocentbystander, irishriviera and strateagle owe me bowl picks!
