A challenge to BC Fans

I saw the earlier post about Herzy being cancer free and, quite frankly, it brought tears to my eyes. Unfortunately, I have had many friends and family diagnosed with cancer. I know the toll it can take on you both emotionally and physically. The fact that Mark was able to beat cancer shows that he has unbelievable fortitude, faith, and a great support system of family and friends.

So I got to thinking. There will be others in the future who will be diagnosed with this disease. And they need our help. So here is what I propose:

BC has 3 ACC games left. I think it would be great if we could get a group of people who will donate $5 or $1 for every point BC scores in the next 3 games. All money goes to Uplifting Athletes in Mark's name.

I am in for $5 point. I hope others join me. And I hope BC scores 200 over the final 3 games.

Congratulations Mark. You are an inspiration to us all.
