Baseball is a great take at BC. This new stadium is really going to help recruiting. The weather will always be a factor, but they the best shot of any northern school to build a good roster. They need to build the indoor support building next. They need indoor batting cages, locker rooms and players lounge to make it a complete facility.

I think other schools have shifted this way as well, its different from the green turf and meant to replicate clay. I was looking on Astroturf site and they claim schools like Vanderbilt, Michigan and WVU among others use this stuff

Not sure if anyone noticed in the video, but looks like Myles Willis works for Suffolk and is part of the group working on the field house

Daz gets a mention in the hilarious comments section in this story about Temple's proposed football stadium. Wonder who the ex BCS lineman is.

The "BCS lineman" kinda got IB'd when hit with the news article on his cousin being arrested for drugs. Hilarious.

drove by the indoor facility last week for the first time since football season.

the building is absolutely massive but they did a really good job fitting in the architecture with the overall campus. based on the outside (and winter finally leaving) they'll definitely have it ready for summer camp

let's get to what the bulk of the readers here are wondering... how did the showers look? did they expand the shower observation area from the old locker rooms? could you tell if they were wiring for audio or will the "insiders" continue to only get video

If I was going to the game I'd be hoping the seats are heated.

I checked the BC webcams and it looks like the team is out there now. The game is not on the ACC Network so I guess they don't have the camera equipment set up yet. I think that's a requirement at some point.

Good question. Friend's son was being heavily recruited to pitch at BC. He loved the school but wanted nothing to do with the weather. Was down to UVA or Wake
