Seriously though, a good spring from the OLine and from Towles and I'm going to be pretty excited for 2016!

Maybe the fact that Addazio is having a spring game is saying something about the offensive lines progression, wasn't that the reason he cancelled last years game, because a lack of offensive line depth/talent.

Last year's game happened the same day as the Providence Hockey Regional. It was snowing and they bumped it up to 10 AM.

Having actual roster depth will make for a better spring game. I watched a Kicker play CB in one of these recently

I think it was lack of bodies, not about talent. I don't think they even had 10 guys so they couldn't field two teams.

Guys the Spring game didn't get cancelled last year. It was the same day as BC vs Denver in Providence.

It definitely got cancelled. They held an open practice and did so like 4 hours earlier than the original time. But there was no spring game. Stated reason was 8 offensive linemen, likely reason was defense was going to maul the shit O-Line regardless of numbers.

I think he is making a joking reference to an argument that happened last year regarding the spring game's impact on attendance at the hockey game or vice-versa, I don't remember exactly.

What is the injury situation? Have to assume Wade, Giacone & Moore are out. How about Hillman, Garrison, Glines & Vietello?

Impossible to know. Nobody does any reporting on BC football so there's nothing out there about it. We're reliant on the BCI guys continuing their position preview, Blauds dropping tiny bits of legit leaked info in articles about how BC should play UMass, UConn, Temple and Rutgers every year, or bceagles.com when the staff finally gives up on the actual media reporting on stuff and just posts it themselves.

BCI is saying they've confirmed March 3rd. Two weeks from today!

They are also reporting Wade is ready to go, but Moore and Hilliman are not 100%

especially with our sudden shortage of RBs, i'd be fine giving jon the andre williams treatment of virtually no contact practice

We have to be moving someone to RB right? Unless we want that new walk-on RB getting touches we need to make a move with only 3 on scholly (plus that RB turned FB cant remember name off top of my head). Mike Walker would be one of my top choices also Glines played that position in high school. Keeping Hilliman healthy before Septemeber has to be our top priority.

Pulling Akeel Lynch from Penn State for a year would be huge. Haven't heard anything on him as of late, but he would be a perfect big back to take some snaps and keep Hilliman healthy.

I'm guessing we go with just the 3 RBs and Richard Wilson (the converted FB), with someone like Glines as an emergency back if needed. I can't imagine a 5th year senior would find BC's depth chart that appealing.
