Rumors out of Clemson likely to disappoint you..

If this is true, by the way, Swofford's logic on the Friday night games becomes clear: BC alone is not a draw for the prime time Friday night ESPN slot. FSU last year. Clemson this year. I'd expect our Friday night games will always be FSU, Clemson, Louisville, VT and possibly a Miami on those 1 out of 20 years we host them in a season. I think we can safely rule out ever having Wake or NCST on a Friday night.

You mean you don't think the strategy of giving away an ACC home game, scheduling 3 group of 5 teams for OOC, and making the marquee ACC game a Friday is good for attendance? I know he always says come to see BC, not the opponent, but that works better when we aren't coming off of a 3 win (zero against P5 teams) season.

I assume he could put a request in and say Clemson is my only draw in the season ticket package, I need that to be a Saturday game. Would the ACC tell him tough break. I am guessing Brad doesn't call in any requests?

I love Fright night games, but if I had to deal with work and traffic as the locals do, I am sure I would a different opinion.

yes, it is embarrassing to type, but given that we are coming off a 3 win season, are running a new system, are breaking in a new qb OC, and DC, its early in the season and are flying back from Ireland, a loss to Umass is certainly in play. Now even if 70% of the team got the Chipolte Chills, they should still beat Umass by double digits, but given what I just witnessed last year, I think anything is in play this year.
