Unless Hafley & co. can identify and sign talented H.S. prospects, I'd rather see him recruit transfers than U Albany-level flyers, and focus on the 2021 class.

True, but you can only sign 25 a year. We signed 12 earlier so that gives us roughly 13* to get back up to 85. If too many leave, then our roster will have to be filled with preferred walk on types. We need more talent, not less.

* early enrollees and what year they are counted toward slightly affect this number.

This could be just the realities of the times. So many more kids transfer now than 5, 10 years ago. Largely because it is so much easier.
Burke would be in the rotation next season, if not starting, so this is a loss.
