Good luck to him. Hear he is a really good kid.

The depth chart indicates he is third string at Delaware. Not sure if it's 100% accurate, but if that's actually the case, that's too bad. He could have just stayed at BC...or picked another school.

Based on his tweet I think Davon Jones is graduating and leaving. Also, based on what Addazio said, I think Elijah Robinson is coming back and got two medical redshirts.

Looks like it yeah. That is a shame, I was always hoping he would get his shot given the way we jerked him around the field.

Yup, would have to think Davon Jones is done.
Back in September, I was told that Elijah Johnson got a medical last season and was redshirting this season. Elijah Robinson would be eligible for both this season but I doubt it.

Next year's senior class is probably the weakest class on the roster. Addazio would be wise to pick up a 5th year on the DL to add some size and depth.

They really like Betro. He would have played this season but injured his knee in the last scrimmage.

With the way Daz likes to crack the rock, I would argue that 4 RBs isn’t enough especially if he shirts Garwo.

Considering AB's lack of accuracy, i'm guessing he'll have to leap quite often.

He should also get really good at getting wide open only to have to stop his stride so he can come back to the underthrown ball, and prepare to be tackled by a DB who had been 20 yards away prior to the pass.

Is there a chance Elijah Robinson could be back next year (if they even wanted him back) ? I don't believe he even dressed for a game this year.

Yes, as I said above. He had some sort of surgery (no clue what and he looked fine on the sidelines) and did not dress all season.

Next year's team is very strong at DB, LB, OL, WR, TE, RB.
It is an utter dumpster fire at DL and K.
And... then, of course, there is QB.

What makes you think we're very strong at WR? After Kobay (who is definitely underutilized), how may career receptions are on there?
Also, LB...? Depth, sure. But playmakers? nope.

Why would you think we would be "very strong" at OL or DB? You must think the coaches started the wrong players? The units we started this year struggled against better talent.

we'll have 7 QB next year. i assume Johnson will be red-shirted is already being told he's next in line after Brown's time is up. will Langan (6-3, 225) or Valecce 6-5, 220) get the Josh Bordner treatment and move to a WR/TE hybrid? (i think that was suggested when Langan committed.) for comparisons sake, Bordner was 6-4 and listed at 220 as a QB and 230 as a WR.

given how much Allen and Ray played this year its hard to know about the DEs until we see who winds up playing and how good they are. of all the positions it seems like DE is most likely to have a true freshmen gets PT.

how many other ACC teams will return an All-ACC 1st Team player on both Offense and Defense? as far as i can tell, we are the only one assuming Clemson loses Ferrell and Lawrence to the NFL. yet i'm sure as soon as spring practice rolls around Daz will be talking non-stop about how much talent graduated and how its a rebuilding year, notwithstanding that we return a 3rd year QB, a Heisman hopeful (and 2-time All ACC 1st Team) RB, an honorable mention All-ACC player on the OL (plus Lindstrom, Phillips, and maybe Elijah Johnson if he returns healthy as guys who have started in the past, either when injuries occurred or just through shuffling on the line), and returning starters at TE (Idrizi, Garrison) and WR (White, Glines).

I have actually heard the staff really likes Valecce but we'd need to utilize his strengths, which is obviously the throw game. Langan will not end up at QB.

I assumed Langan would get moved to LB, he was a beast when I saw him play. At QB he reminded me of a Chris Crane that could break tackles.

given the depth at LB i'd guess he's moving to the Bordner TE/WR hybrid position. plus he can take Jeff Smith's place in all of the gadget plays that involve throws from a skill position guy.
