I think we're officially at the point where the constant difficulty keeping up with the play clock has to be blamed entirely on the coaching. 4 different QB's this year and all 4 have consistently run into trouble getting plays off on time. Every game we either get multiple delays-of-game or blow timeouts to avoid them. If it was one QB I'd say the kid doesn't know what he's doing, especially if it was becoming less of a problem as the season goes on and they gain experience. But we're now in week 12 and we still can't get plays off on time. This has to be the coaches not getting the plays into the players quickly enough. There's no other explanation.

It's no little thing, either. When you're constantly playing from behind, losing 1-3 TO's per game to prevent delays-of-games can be a killer. Last night, our 3rd timeout in the 2nd half might've gotten us the ball back with 30 seconds left only down 3 points. Instead, ND was able to just take a knee.

If Fitch gets canned how many OC's will BC have had, counting the new one, since Logan wasn't offered the HC job for the 2009 season? Did Spaz have 4 or 5 I forget, I'll go with 4. So if there is a new OC next year that would make 7 OC's in 7 years since 2009. Or did I misremember?

I had the same feeling late last night but upon reflection I realized that I couldn't hate pure ineptitude whereas I sure as shit hate this asshole.
