On punt returns, for the love of God, put Thad Smith about 15 yards in front of Alston. The Pats use this all the time and it would save 20 yards of field position. Just tell Smith to fair catch it. If it goes over his head he can block for Alston.

Also, Daz needs to put an end to the Harris Williams experiment. He has been absolutely dreadful.

to be fair, if you were a student would you be sprinting into the stadium when the team has scored 1 TD in 3 ACC games?

I've been in for kickoff of every game this year but I can understand if people want an extra beer opposed to watching dive, dive, duck chuck, punt

Just watched the end of this abortion again on NESN. I think Fitch might've been the one who screwed this up. The entire sideline is screaming into their headsets for something (a play?).

Also, Rouse scores walking in if Addazio's kid would get in shape and learn how to block. The play was blocked perfectly except for his piss poor effort.

I didn't see one guy (maybe Cashman) make their block. Was Lindstrom supposed to pull? Also WF sold out on a run between the tackles; anything else would have been a TD, of course if it was a pass, Smith could have thrown it to the Demon Deacon.

this. addazio was 1 on 1 with a DB and no one else within 20 yards. when Daz referenced just being a little off, this was clearly one of them.

granted that 'just a bit off' sounds fucking moronic when you've scored 1 td in 3 ACC games

That play was a disaster. There wasn't one but what hole was Rouse supposed to hit? It looks like he is heading between Baker and Lindstrom. Was Lindstrom supposed to pull? I hate when we pull in goal line situations.

This game came up today, as it often does, in another thread. Being that it was quite possibly the worst football game ever played, should it be tacked?

A few fun facts:
- J Smith and T Flutie combined for 74 passing yards and a pick;
- WF put up 142 yards total offense;
- In three consecutive plays on BC's first possession we went false-start; false-start; delay of game!
- Lichtenberg went 0-2 on FG attempts (from 31 and 26 yards).
