City Councilors Victoria Danberg and Richard Blazar, who represent Newton Centre, said they’d like to see some type of housing, including low-income units, at the property.

They are c-u-n-t-s. There, I said it.

I predict that neither Victoria Danberg nor Richard Blazar live especially close to the site in question, and I also predict they would oppose low-income housing if it was coming to their own neighborhood.

If I'm reading the Chapter 40B regs in MA correctly, an "affordable" Home can be purchased by someone with a family income between 70% and 80% of the city/town's median income. In a city like Newton, that can be up to $85,000 per year. Not exactly a family in poverty.
