Pretty much. And it was also kind of built on owning TOB

Dick Rosenthal {l Wrote}:So Duke is apparently discounting tickets because of the complete lack of interest and the impending hurricane. Let's assume that we have a tropical depression on Saturday--heavy rain, winds around 30 MPH. How many fans actually attend this game? 100? 200? It is going to make a 90s Temple game at the Vet look like a sell out.

This will help BC and make the game even more unwatchable.

Not sure of this was mentioned, but it looks like there are 2 viewing options for the game. ESPN3, and if you're local, NESN Plus is apparently airing the game.

An attendance of only a few hundred people is going to be extremely disappointing to TRE, who has no doubt spent the week in the Duke stadium bathroom with his glory hole tools, carving holes of different sizes and dimensions in all the toilet stalls.

At least I think it's him - someone with a Tobacco Road area code has been texting photos all week, and I have to assume these are all from TRE's Obamaphone.

i will not be in tobaccoroad on saturday. my guess is jhiggi and his ncsu "roommate" are behind all that glory hole business.

i'm hoping there is still a tobaccoroad to return to for my scheduled arrival late sunday night

Tre, unfortunately it wasn't me and the roommate as the weather has changed our plans. Admittedly though, someone has been doing yeomen's work down there, I saw they even carved out a special stall in the ladies room for DGF's favorite 'proclivities'..... I am assuming its TWB as I also noticed a hole carved in the BC locker room stalls labeled "Jeff Smith Insert Here".

I'm sorry that continuing resolution passed and now you have to work this weekend.

I am not "pro Smith" as much as I am "anti-Legacy WR at QB". I was rooting for Wade to hand over the reigns directly to Brown, myself.

Ok, Nancy's! It's almost Saturday! Get your fucking game faces on and drop the doom-and-gloom bullshit! We're 3-1! That's better than the expectations of many on this board and in the sports media world, and worse than only a handful of dreamers! Now we've got a chance to go 4-1 heading into Wake week, which would be amazing!

Here's hoping the OLine can take a step forward and really start gelling as a unit, opening holes and maintaining a pocket! Here's hoping that Flutie, now in his second full game, will show a bit more poise, some better timing, more comfort cycling through the progressions to locate open receivers, and throw a bit tighter ball! Here's hoping that Smith can grow with the option, improve on reading the defenses, make good decisions, and electrify the offense! Here's hoping that the bad INT's and bad fumbles are in the past! Here's hoping that some of the talented RB's step up to fill the void at the top! Here's hoping the defense can continue to be absolute monsters and dominate, giving the offense shorter fields and maybe even some free points! Here's hoping Litch-itty splits the uprights when needed! Here's hoping Howell's feeling better and booming the kickoffs and the punts! Here's hoping Daz calls a game plan that puts us in position to pull the road upset, ignoring the drones of fans who want more risk and action!

As a fanbase, we need more optimism and more support! In the words of Outlow's father on BCI radio this week: FLY EAGLES!!!!

why would you get a caterer from indiana for your dc wedding? that really doesn't make much sense. i think you are telling a "funny story" except you left out the funny part.
