So, after week 2, BC is officially:

Defense
1st in the nation in Scoring Defense (1.5pts/game)
1st in the nation in Total Defense (51yards/game) *** 2nd place has allowed more than 100yards/game more than us!!!
1st in the nation in Rushing Defense (7yards/game)
1st in First Downs Allowed (5/game)
1st in Long Scrimmage Plays Allowed (in all categories: 10+ yards, 20+ yards, 30+ yards, etc)
2nd in Passing Defense (44yards/game) *** Damn you, San Jose State and your 42yards/game!!!
4th in Opponents 3rd Down Conversion (12%) *** 3rd Down Donny Brown!!!!
5th in Sacks (4.5/game)
14th in Tackles for a Loss (9.5/game)
15th in Turnover Margin (+1.5/game)

Offense
8th in Scoring Offense (50pts/game)
65th in Total Offense (421yards/game) *** Damn you, Baylor and your 754yards/game
16th in the nation in Rushing Offense (275.5yards/game)
114th in Passing Offense (145.5yards/game)
9th in 3rd Down Conversions (56%)
1st in 4th Down Conversions (1/1)

Special Teams
1st in the nation in PAT's

1st in the nation in Total Defense (106yards/game) *** 2nd place has allowed more than 80yards/game more than us!!!
1st in the nation in Rushing Defense (37yards/game)
1st in Passing Defense (69yards/game)
1st in First Downs Allowed (5/game)
1st in Long Scrimmage Plays Allowed (in all categories except 10+ yards, in which we're 2nd)
4th in Opponents 3rd Down Conversion (18.6%) *** 3rd Down Donny Brown!!!!
6th in Sacks (11)
9h in Tackles for a Loss (9/game)

I'll just leave out the offensive statistics this week...

Didn't see this thread until now. 65th in the nation in total offense and 118th in passing after playing fucking Maine and Howard.

1st in Long Scrimmage Plays Allowed (in all categories except 10+ yards, in which we're 2nd) ALSO (only team in the nation to not allow a play of 30+ yards)
3rd in Scoring Defense (8pts/game)
3rd in 3rd Down Conversions Allowed (3rd DOWN DONNY BROWN!!!)
8th in Tackles for a Loss
9th in Red Zone Defense
12th in Sacks

Again, we'll just leave out the offensive statistics.

i don't think anyone has claimed anything about our defense other than that they are awesome.

a more helpful thread would compare and contrast which quarterback is worse bad using statistics rather than "that one ball that he threw short that one time" and "why was he throwing on 3rd and 4th down"

Newsflash, BC has cover corners and cover safeties and thus can press cover and get to the QB with 4 guys, 2 of whom are well above average pass rushers as freshmen. Hence, they are much better than almost all college defenses.
