I don't know where that forecast comes from, but we are supposed to get just a little Saturday night and it is supposed to be in the 40s on Sunday.

How has BC done the past couple of JR days with Daz? Should we expect some commits?

Coach needs to sit down with Koby and convince him that he will be the next Kuechly, Herzlich, KPL, and get him to commit. Hes been non stop getting offers the past couple of weeks.

KPL is the perfect comp for Quansah. I think BC will be in strong consideration, but if tOSU offers it could be a wrap as I think he would commit on the spot.

I don't think we historically get commitments at junior days but who knows. There are some local guys and legacies so maybe one or two will commit.

2 things:

1) i'll defer to the w31d0z but it appears a strong year for CT no? good thing there's only a to be fcs team in that state
b) seems like daz is really going after non traditional sates this year (tx & ca), accurate? i know they hosted some big hs coach from texas recently

BC also recently offered another St. X guy. Noah Davis (6'5 230lb). Good offer sheet including Iowa, Kentucky, Pitt, Wake.

Seems to be a number of offers out to TE prospects. Wonder if they are taking a large # of them or projecting out to DE's.

Good news all around. With the Dalton commitment I figured Scooter was long gone...but this is nice.

Ragan is supposedly the best player in Mass this year and picked us over Miami. Harrington had a bunch of offers but nice to see him commit early and not draw it out. FWIW both are legacy guys.

DE, LB if they're fast enough, OL if they have a big enough frame to get up to 290+. Always good to have a few of those types of athletes in every class.

So the prospects stay the entire weekend or just one day? It would be nice if it was a weekend and Harrington/Ragan could try to get others on board as their seems like a lot of good potential players at this event.

He seems like one of those athletic bigs that Jags always used to say you can never have enough of. That said, pretty sure he isn't the #1 prospect in Mass.

It doesn't matter now since he's on board. :chewbanka :skank :chewbanka

Serious question...why does everyone talk about putting a fence around NE as being important? I'd rather have the 200th best player in FL than the #2 in CT

Great job by the staff!

Hope this builds some momentum and encourages some of the other jr. day attendees to commit.

Jacob Morgenstern just tweeted this after junior day ...

‏@jakemorgenstern
Today was my third time at BC and I seem to love it more every time #GoEagles

I have read that he will be a "high academic guy" (like Wilkins was supposed to be :whammy ). BC should be in good shape, has really added a number of quality offers since BC was the first to offer, and is a versatile athlete, can play WR or LB from what I have read.

You're right…looking forward to Danny Dalton being the next Dan Crimmins…or if we get really, Charlie Callinan! What a treat that would be!

I am not necessarily good at the snark regarding recruiting, but I am absolutely thrilled to have any kid commit and tweet a picture of themself at a Tobias game from 2004. BC should absolutely be selling tradition and family, and I would take a 2* who has wanted to be at BC since he was 8 years old over a 4* who is pimping himself out to the highest bidder (not that BC gets any of those). I realize in reality its more than one or the other, but I just love the Harrington recruit. That he's a somewhat bigtime get makes it even better.

There is simply no way to look at today's committments as anything less than incredible. Both are top talents and we are lucky to have them. Great job by Daz and the staff.

I liked this line:
"My dad played there and met some of his best friends," Harrington said. "I'm looking forward to the brotherhood I will experience with my teammates."

That's exactly why you want a legacy on board early. It's Daz's message of " family" exemplified.
