Elias Reynolds decommitted today as well. LB from Poly Prep in Brooklyn, same school as Ray Marten. No BC offer to date

Somewhere imbedded in this thread (the search function isn't working for me), I lobbied for an RB in this class as you should never skip the position when recruiting (and noting that only Gowins came in last year). With Outlow and Alston gone... and Gowins likely as well... it just hammers home the terrible strategy of skipping positions and recruiting as if injuries and attrition never occur.

One of the only recruits with any options is about to get off the SS Addazio before it hits the iceberg.

You have to be more specific. There are like 4 recruits who fit that description.

I'm worried about losing KJ Gray.
He would be a big loss at a position of need

I think as of right now, KJ is solid (only because his other real option, Rutgers, is a bigger mess and has no coach). That could obv change when they hire new coach and he's scrambling to fill late class.

Assuming he doesn't take the SEC visits we might be in good shape.

He will be an awesome DE.

Cal offered Patrice Rene today (they could soon have a coaching issue on their hands if their coach leaves for Mizzou). Idk if he has officially decommitted from Rutgers but it seems like it's inevitable, hopefully BC can get him on campus

Addazio is down in Fairfield County today recruiting. Not sure if he is here specifically to pitch Niang (despite the recent TCU news) or just make the rounds

the good news is that Pepe's has a location not too far from there now, which I'm sure rakim enjoyed.

Connecticut players in DIVISION I (FBS)

ACC: 10 (Fairfield County 5, Hartford 4)
AAC: 23 (Hartford 7, Fairfield 5, New Haven 4)
Big Ten: 3 (Litchfield, Hartford, Middlesex)
Big 12: None
C-USA: 2 (Fairfield, New Haven)
Mid-American: 5 (Middlesex 3, Fairfield, Litchfield)
Mountain West: None
Pac 12: 2 (Fairfield 2)
SEC: 3 (Hartford 2, Fairfield 1)
Sun Belt: 1 (Hartford)
FBS Independents: 8 (Fairfield 3, Litchfield 2) I assume some of these are Notre Dame

You piqued my interest - looks like a few P5 players there and one of the best counties in New England
