Addazio plans to pull his captains out of a hat on a game-by-game basis.

Instead of electing permanent captains on offense, defense and special teams, the Eagles rotate the duty. Each week, five players from offense and defense will be nominated. The game captains are selected at random from a raffle system. No player will repeat as captain.

“We are going to take an offensive hat and defensive hat, pull the name out,” Addazio said.

If you listen to Daz reveal this plan at the end of the press conference this week, you can see that he's genuinely excited by the team chemistry and he sees this as a way of continuing the development of that chemistry.

b.) With such a young team, I think this will be good for player development and pay dividends in '16 and beyond.
