BCSUPERFAN22 {l Wrote}:Take this for what its worth (since its from twitter, where he announced his "commitment") but he announced an offer from BC on June 24, 2016. Well after Fitch was gone (he was hired at LATech in Feb). Fitch may have been a primary recruiter prior to leaving, but someone else must have extended an offer that is currently within the program (unless he was completely lying and/or misinterpreted something the current staff told him). Idk either way about this, just connecting the dots

My guess is that Fitch is recruiting him for LaTech. My guess is that Thompson thinks Fitch works at BC. My guess is that Fitch didn't feel the need to immediately disavow. When Fitch offered, the kid jumped on it. I feel bad for him. There is no way Fitch didn't realize that the kid was only talking to him because he thought he was still at BC.

Gotta be Brown making the call with this right? Kid seems pretty excited about it on Twitter. He'll probably bolt, but I would've liked him in the fold. National recruiting by teams like Clemson, ND, OSU, and Michigan is hurting the Northeast for sure. Theoretically this should leave some talent in those schools' home turf up for us to grab. Hopefully we can pull some quality players in before signing day.
HJS {l Wrote}:Sebastian should probably be careful as to what he is getting into. He was basically offered only because Harbaugh called around to what seems to be 4 committed players and told them they are not wanted. This is on the heels of counselling 11 such kids last January.

I'm assuming we won't hear anything on Sebastian untill Tarik Black decides. Sebastian may flip regardless, but if Black goes to UM, I would bet on Sebastian being all but gone
BCSUPERFAN22 {l Wrote}:Well here we go, Michigan offered Kwity Paye
Iggle {l Wrote}:did anyone inform him that it actually doesn't matter if BC goes 3-9 or 7-5?
HJS {l Wrote}:I'm not entirely sure if anyone is even keeping track of this recruiting class. Well, we've entered the season of "all of our decent recruits are exploring other options due to new offers". Along those lines, Kwity Paye was offered by 3rd Down Donnie Brown a couple of weeks ago. He visited Michigan last weekend. Safe to say he was impressed.
"The coaching staff at Boston College is kind of in a tough spot because if there’s another losing season there’s a possibility that the whole coaching staff could be gone. I want to be in an environment where the coaching staff is stable. It will come down to BC’s season I think. If BC doesn’t have a winning season and if the coaches get fired then I’ll have no choice to go somewhere else. Ann Arbor would definitely be the spot for me at that point."
