My guess is his offer list is non-existent.

BC loves this type of kid lately, similar to Barlow he is big, fast, athletic and plays against a horrible level of competition.

BC got Silva and Blackmon from the same HS. Silva was a 2-star with offers from URI, Penn and New Hampshire.

Some 2* nobody recruits work out. An overwhelming amount do not. The type BC is looking for lately has the athletic ability at least I don't mind taking fliers on those

I think those are actually the only two examples.

Kam Moore, John Johnson (under Spaz), Gowins, Grice, Will Harris, etc.

Northern Virginia isn't a hot bed of college football nor is NY or CT. All these kids had the physical tools but there were a bunch of guys running around the field like them that looked like us.

That's kind of a stretch for "lately" since you're going back to the prior staff. Yes we have recruited otherwise unrecruited athletes from poor competition areas though. I think that's fair to say. I also think that is a better bet than unrecruited players from high level competition areas because its more likely they've been missed.

Also since we are 14 months from signing day in this instance, that always gives me some optimism that we're buying low.

I can't really find a reason to complain here. Local school we hit HRs at and the kid seems like an athletic kid.

He's 220 lbs and runs the 100 meter for his high school. I'd say so

Seeing as how I insisted Kam Moore would be a star from the day he committed, I'll say I'm on board with this kid too.

Absolutely enormous loss. Local, connections to well performing BC athlete (Strachan went to St. Sebastian's), defensive recruit in our own backyard.

Yeah... that sucks. 4-star kid from Needham who is at a position we regularly do well in. This is what happens when you win 3-games.

Yup.

Meanwhile, Northwestern is playing Tennessee in a New Year's Six bowl. No-brainer for this young man and I wish him well.

That's largely due to the limited AD they hired to replace him and the limited coaches he has since brought in (exclusively from the MAC). While he did a terrible job with the gambling "scandal," Chet was the best AD the school in the last quarter century.

Agree with the Bates hire, we're running in place with that guy. The people responsible for hiring him deserve blame as well. I was thinking the same thing about Gladchuk, he's done well in each of his stops since his time at BC.

I would argue that Chet's decision re TC's successor was worse.

We're headed backwards with Bates. This guy will say anything you want to hear but actually do nothing.

Oh and his coaching hires suck.

Chet did make mistakes (Henning, but he got Woody), but he did renovate the stadium in his first 5 years and he had already designed the new football building that included an indoor field. They handed out a full color brochure of the facility. Then came Leahy and an immediate halt was placed on all athletic facilities.

Jon Lewis, QB from SPP, recently received an offer from Georgia. BC was first to offer in May. Don't know where he fits into Addazio's plan/saying he wants to take more pro-style QB's, but he is from St. Peters and BC has been on him for a while
