Per @BCFootballNews, first half notes - Wade had a 61 yard TD pass to Alston, with 54 yards coming after the catch. Willis scored two rushing TDs. The D had three tackles for loss including a sack and one INT after Gutapel tipped a pass.

Wondering if the tipped pass is due to Wade being a bit on the short side? Hopefully not too big an issue.

True. Daz said they needed a 3rd because the O was so bad in the 2nd.

will they potentially have a 4th? didn't he say that he liked doing them on saturday to try to replicate the game day feel?

could this just be an "offense really sucks" scrimmage to check the pulse of whether the drills and coaching they've done since the 2nd scrimmage are actually helping?

how is 1a on the qb depth chart playing?

The defense recorded 3 tackles for loss - Lezzer, Daniels and Moore & Kelly combined for a sack.

First time I have seen Moore's name this season (assuming this was Malachi Moore and not Kam Moore).

As you get into the final week of preparation before game week, will there be another scrimmage like this?

Was in attendance this morning and took away a few things:

1: Wade may be in over his head, looked uncomfortable on almost every series
2: secondary is a million billion times better than last year, looking very strong. Probably part of wades struggles :shrug
3: Elijah Robinson is a great talent at wide out, would share MVP between he and Willis
4: Also, in case it hasn't been mentioned, outlow left the game with an apparent hand injury :gun

Smith will eventually be our QB. He's dynamic. And with poor WRs, we'll need someone to make plays or else it's Hilliman and Outlow against a 9 man front. I think we're overhyping Wade's throwing ability, Smith can sling it.

If problems with Wade were so obvious, he wouldn't be getting all the first team snaps. I wasn't there, but I suspect some of it is that he is playing against the first team defense.

That said, I'll be perfectly okay if Smith wins the job.

Word is that Flutie played great.

Putting pressure on Wade.

Wasn't actually there. Just trying to rile the board up a bit.

I think most people outside of the ATL's misfits have moved past the whole "Flutie is a QB" thing and are on to the "holy shit, Smith might actually be a QB" thing.

This.

Wade continues to get the overwhelming majority of first team snaps and I think any of our QB's would look "in over their head" against our first team defense, especially if the secondary really has taken steps forward and our wide receivers haven't especially.

Saw an interview with Daz where he said his goal was to throw everything at the offense up to this last scrimmage. Moving forward the offense will be lining up against a more Maine-like defensive scheme for practices. We should hopefully start seeing a lot of offensive progress from here out. Basically, even if Wade was flustered today, he should find the next 2.5 weeks a lot less stressful. Just needs to find his comfort zone and some rhythm by FSU.

And finally, totally agree with the fact that Wade hasn't earned the starting job yet. There's nothing owed to him. The best QB plays. If it's Wade, great. If it's Smith, fantastic. If it's Flutie...

Jeff smiths running ability is incredible, better than Murphy. I think the most successful plan will be continuing the 2014 offensive scheme with smith in place of Murphy.
