New QB Transfer that's been identified by Daz as an H-back

Love that Addazio continues to make excellent use of the graduate transfer rules. Don't care where they slot him in, just happy to have another experienced body for this young team. I trust that the staff will find a way to utilize him effectively.

Spurrier said he (Noso) wanted to play QB even if it was at a small school, "he had to go".

Throwing him in to TE at that size was probably an encouragement to leave.

Who knows, he could be another Uncle Dave and get in a good year.

He's never had much playing time as a QB, sounds like Spurrier moved him to TE but his plays were on the suicide squad. I'm sure Spurrier wanted to focus his thinking on transferring. The second coming of Cody Boeck!

This is a good deal for Noso and BC, he gets a 2 yr grad degree and BC gets smart kid who wants to play college QB and he has 2 years remaining as a bonus. According to the recruiting stats he ran a faster 40 than Murphy and was rated higher. I'm sure Spurrier gets involved (VERY involved) in picking the HS QB recruits so this one is on him.

Spaz headache is if Noso works his way up to #2 or #1 and Spaz has to manage disappointment among the underclassmen. Worst case scenario he's cheap ins policy, best case he's another run first pass last in Murphy mold. BC was very lucky Murphy had all those carries last year without serious injury, way better off having 2 guys who can split the workload. Of course, with at least 4 ???? on the OL all the QBs might be running - backwards!

The few I've seen I've thrown him throw have been really good. I recall seeing one where he threw a tight spiral to the shoulder where only the receiver could have caught it. I'm excited to have a QB back there who can sling it. Seems like it's been awhile since we've had that.
