Unfortunately, the infected file controls how the CONTENT is displayed by the browser. Sophos is blocking the file making the site unreadable.

I PMed Justin but I think he is dead. First, Civileagle, then Huang, now Justin... who's next??

as one would properly assume, the maroon names have no power over this site's protection from viruses. someone will need to ride huang or justin like a pony to get that sort of crap fixed.

also, if justin really moved along i'd guess this site has less than a year left. i assume he paid the hosting fees a year at a time and i would have no idea how to change that responsibility or make that payment on his behalf. my only hope is that we at least live long enough for one final "worst poster" tournament.

You are overlooking the significant advertising fees generated by site traffic that most likely would be automatically deposited to the EO bank account. As long as the hosting fees were automatically debited to this account, the site could function on a type of autopilot, similar to Malaysian Airlines Flight 370.

This is what the site looks like for me when I am at work. At work a pop up comes up on my desk top warning about a virus. I didn't realize Hansen was having the same problem. I brought this up with Justin a few weeks back (month or more) and he said he doesn't see any viruses, but that something weird is happening with the way the website is being read (I am paraphrasing and welcome Justin's expertise).

ATL, I have on good authority that someone has brought this to Justin's attention, but not sure what he is able to do.

I hope EO lives on for many seasons. EI is a ghost town so that would seem like a good home if this place gets shutdown. I don't know what their board policies are now. During my short tenure, I didn't manage them well and it became a $hit show with multiple Network complaints against certain posters.

I can't replicate the malware issue on any devices that I use for.
Also used several of the website scan tools and they don't flag anything either.

If you give me an actual issue, I can look into it.
