Postby BCdee on Sun Jul 19, 2015 9:13 am

What games do you guys plan on attending this season? We just booked our flights to Boston for the FSU game....it's been years since I've been up there. :angrychicken
I am very excited! :elephant :elephant :elephant

We will be at:

FSU (home)
Clemson (away)

The wife and I will be going to Clemson. If you see people tailgating under a yogurtman flag, do not approach.

Have my tix for FSU. Was thinking of Clemson, but such a pain to get to.

Bringing my high school nephew to the FSU game and I have no idea what to do with him. He is taking the tour in the afternoon, but there is a big gap between then and the game. I may just end up in Cityside so I can get drunk as he eats.

@ ND and (as much as I hate Friday night home games ) FSU, because it is our first real game and it is FSU, for sure. The remainder are TBD based upon kickoff time, though I am sure I will go to most if not all of them.

All of the home games plus Clemson. If I can get into the ND game at the last minute for $100 or so, I will, but I'm not willing to pay much more than that.

I'll probably be at all the home games.

Duchie, just fly direct from Newark to Greenville and rent a car. My friend is flying down from EWR to GSP that Friday and getting in at noon.

Even though we live nearby (less than an hour and a half from Clemson), we are going to stay in Anderson (about a 15 -20 minute drive to campus and less expensive than the hotels in Clemson) for Friday and Saturday nights. Or, you can stay in Greenville which is an awesome little city. It's about a 45 minute drive to Clemson from there.

This is pretty much my approach as well. I might be willing to pay up to $200 for an ND ticket depending on where the seat is located. It also depends on how BC is playing at that point in the season.

as for games: all the home games + clemson

duchie, while not nearly the expertise of dee that's how I'm handling it. Taking a quick flight down from laguardia to charlotte on Thursday afternoon and driving down from there (ladyfriend is flying down to GSP direct friday, couldn't get off from work) then on sunday flying direct back from greenville to newark

missing labor day weekend game as always because i would rather be relaxing and drinking in an adirondack chair next to a lake near saratoga than watching us play football

should make the rest of the home games

i predict you will be able to get into the nd game for $70 in the hours leading up to it but i will in a bar on lansdowne over going in if the weather isn't good and we aren't fun to watch

Going to the Maine game because we just got invited to the Cape for Labor Day Weekend and figure why not.

Will also be at FSU, Northern Illinois and probably Wake.

Put my name in for the ND ticket lottery just for kicks. I cannot justify the $400. Will likely watch at a bar with friends unless, like Claver, I can get in for cheap.

dee, how do you suggest we get tickets for the clemson game? i assume BC isn't their hottest ticket. how are tickets in the bc section?

in past road trips did maryland where we went stubhub (big mistake, thank god those knuckledraggers are OUT of the acc) and then moved to BC section
did rcc where we got the full bc experience (down in front'd after a couple of plays :oldman )

Not sure really.

I have had seasons since 2006 but decided to cancel this year after son #2 showed up in May.

I will probably try and take son #1 to one or both of the FCS games. He is two and is probably only good for a half.

Maybe try and go to the FSU game with a buddy.

We buy our tickets thru the BC ticket office....the seats have always been good. Last year we were right down in the second row from the field. You don't want to sit in the upper deck at Clemson....nose bleeds.

If anyone has any questions about traveling down here for the game, just let me know and I'll try to answer.

The BC section at Clemson is pretty good. It is the opposite end of Howard's Rock and in the corner. But it is close to the action and the endzone portion is partially covered from the sun.

One other Clemson recommendation if you are going with a larger group or if your wife wants something a little different: rent a house on Lake Keowee. The water might be a little cold by October, but it is still beautiful.
