i think there'd be some interest especially in basketball, to tamp down on the one and done stuff, which affects the NCAA's much needed cover as an education bodyl

The stank of the NBA has bled over to the NCAA and now all basketball blows like a tranny dash in a hansen/DGF wobbly-H.

They should stop the nonsense and let teams HS again.

Freshman eligibility esp for BB is a great thing for good teams. Only a handful of teams have a real shot at recruiting HS superstars, if these superstars were forced to spend more than 1 year in college this handful of teams would be loaded up with superstars and good teams, the Butlers of the world, would never have a shot at winning anything.

Think they should make basketball like baseball. Once you show up to college, you have to stay for 3 years.

There's no reason LeBron, etc should go to college

But agreed the forced 1 year is terrible and the product has gotten worse (part of which is the NCAA's doing: too many timeouts, 35 second shot clock, etc)

I feel like what this most likely does is push the one and done candidates to a foreign league for a year rather than going through the motions in college. So, sure, it solves the 'problem' of guys that are only there until they hit the age requirement for the draft, I guess.

This will be great for college hockey as it will level the playing field and restore some sanity to the game. The "Johnny Hockey" types will opt for a year or 2 of juniors before going pro rather than going to college and the other ECAC schools will join the Unions, Colgates, Yales, and Quinnipiacs at the top of the game.

The fact that these arseholes deleted the post where I said why I will never come back as that name is reason enough. We're having too much fun on BCI and ATL, where the men are men and where content is king. I only come here so Fultonville can remind me its Lent. That never gets old.
