Well, I guess jhiggi and teddy got their wish and will find out if anyone is better than Chris Crane.

I've generally been happier with Day as OC than I thought I would be when he was hired. I'm very curious where Daz goes from here.

As a Giants fan, I can only hope that he teaches Chip Kelly his trick of "forgetting about Sherman Allston for multiple games at a time" so he can apply the same to Darren Sproles.

Never going to complain about BC coaches moving onto the NFL. Thought Day did a good job considering his extreme talent limitations. About my only complaint was not using Alston enough in a few games and those ridiculous a Hillman dives.

FWIW, Todd Fitch (WR coach and Passing Game coordinator) has had short stints as an OC at UConn, East Carolina, and South Florida.

FWIW, Todd Fitch (WR coach and Passing Game coordinator) has had short stints as an OC at UConn, East Carolina, and South Florida.
That would be so typical of BC. Cheaply promote from within on a vital position.

It's QB coach...not OC. He is replacing former Matt Ryan OC (Bill Musgrave) who reunited with Del Rio as the OC in Oakland.

Someone on twitter brought up Paul Peterson. Has been calling plays at Sacramento State since 2012 (one of the better passing offenses at the FCS level this past season)

I was fine with Day, but I am also not sad to see him go. My biggest concern is our replacement.
Addazio has plenty of connections, so I'm really curious who he gets. I have no desire in us getting Steve Logan; he's been out of the game for way too long.
Three guys I'd rather see are: Jags (OC Georgia State), Doug Martin (HC and probably not for long at NM State), Turner Gill (HC at Liberty). These are by no means my top three candidates, just names that quickly came to mind that would be an upgrade over Day or Logan.

He was fine at getting production out of what we have. The stupid play calls were too constant for me. We can do better. Get a bull recruiter too if possible.
