Again not happy that they lost, but you want Day to call plays in some video game land that doesn't exist.

Play to win. We played to win and it didn't work out. Hillman gets stuffed twice, we still miss the FG and lose.

That call was video game land.

Would've preferred outright victory, but given the circumstances I'll gladly sign up with the realistic, rational moral victory team.

yeah it was a fantastic effort, but they were staring history in the face after a wonderfully executed drive (up to that point) at FSU's 27 and came up with nothing somehow. follow that with an absolutely predictable game-winning drive allowed by the defense. that last BC drive just seemed like it had some magic in it. and it lead to nothing. patting yourself on the back for a moral victory doesn't lead to future victories. it leads to future moral victories. you either win or lose... that's it.

but like I said... great effort.
I like BC basketball.

We all agree moral victories are dumb.

Given where my expectations were before this season and how this roster looks, Daz and crew have done a fine job.

Moral victory, no. Satisfied with where the program is at after Spaz completely submarined it, and I fucking HATED the Daz hire at the time, yes. What I don't get is how you're saying that people who appreciate that the staff rolled the dice and went for the win are somehow pussies....Murphy pulls that ball down and worst case (barring a miraculous stop by FSU against 1st and goal from the 2) they score a TD and we go to OT, slightly more likely we win in regulation.
