Here's a preview:

"We are 100% committed to building an indoor facility."
"An indoor facility will enable Boston College to compete with our great partners in the ACC."
"Construction on the new indoor facility will begin once we finish the current construction projects and the projects that have been approved by the City of Boston, the neighboring communities, and the neighborhood organizations."
"Once the previously approved projects have been completed, we will seek approval from the City of Boston, the neighboring communities, and the neighborhood organizations for the construction of the indoor facility."
"Once we have approval, we will be announcing a new fundraising initiative to pay for the new indoor facility, the name of which has yet to be determined."
"Completion of this project is tentatively set for August of 2024. Fingers crossed!"

And they are a land grant university, which always enters into the facilities conversation at some point.

Louisville announced $50mm+ renovations to stadium and football building today while BB is more concerned with 2 for 1 upper endzones deals and scheduling Central Michigan. Says UL received $5mm from Pepsi and $3mm from Planet Fitness towards upgrades.

Not that it would happen (because there would be no benefit to the sponsor), but would you have an issue with it if it were Fidelity Investments Field, State Street Field or GAMCO Investors Field or something like that?

This is probably a mistake - but in all seriousness, how much do you think EO could come up with to make a joint contribution to the facility fund?

I agree with this, but being a private school with limited money (kind of even tho they have the money) it would be prudent to see if local area corporations could contribute (or someone like Under Armour could pitch in some money). While naming rights would remain with BC/high donor, there could always be signage/advertising/goodwill for any corporations that were to contribute (i.e. GE who is moving shortly).
