Not sure I understand why this is lame. They had two Saturday prime time games at home, a required Friday night game and a 3:30 ABC/ESPN start. They also played CSU, Maine and Cuse. Which one of those opponents deserves an ACC TV spot?

Am I missing something or is this just a tailgating bitch?

Think on the whole the 3:30s are the best but I don't mind the 12:30 for this one. Only problem is setting the alarm early to drive back to Mass.

Some great 3:30 & later games that week

My exact thoughts. And as was pointed out to me, a 12:30 game allows you to come home Saturday night and not fight Sunday traffic.

since this is somewhat of a unique gametime, someone let the nerds know they should be in the stadium from 1 - 1:30 for this one
now in the street there is violence
and, and a lots of work to be done
no place to hang out our washing
and, and i can't blame all on the sun
good god we gonna rock down to electric avenue
and then we'll take it higher

That's a good point. Having the game be over before the sun goes down will make it a bit more pleasant.

Still think it will be a sparse crowd though. Duke/Wake Forest-esque.

Its going to be freezing cold either way, but I guarantee it'll be warmer for a 12:30 game than a 3:30 or night game.

We should try to make sure that FSU, Miami, GT, and Clemson come to Alumni in the second half of November -- as often as possible. I strongly suspect that the chill and damp was a positive factor in our favor with SoCal this year.

All those schools have indoor facilities. I'm sure they could crank up the AC and possibly install some Ski-Dubai style snowmakers to simulate Boston conditions.

IIRC the forecast was that it supposed to be brutally cold, but ended up being a typical end of November day. Cold but not unbearable. But yes, Miami did want to be there.
