Louisville is the sexy pick, but they really haven't beaten anybody of note this year. Best win was over Miami first game of the year. They only beat Wake by 10 and NCSU by 12 - both at home. FSU should win.

i just want them to lose by less than 4. that's entertainment...
now in the street there is violence
and, and a lots of work to be done
no place to hang out our washing
and, and i can't blame all on the sun
good god we gonna rock down to electric avenue
and then we'll take it higher

I'm rooting for FSU because I want them to be undefeated when we play them. Would probably be in primetime on ABC if BC were to win the next two.

This game is the criminals vs. the criminals. The 'Ville takes anyone. I mean, Michael Dyer was kicked OUT of Auburn...

That game was over when Petrino turtled up after they took the lead back and forced an FSU punt. The decision to start trying to milk the clock with 5+ minutes left while backed up deep in their own end was a classic panic move.
Is this the 5 o'clock free crack giveaway?

thought they also panicked when they were down 35-31 trying to throw the ball constantly.

they had 3:46 and 3 timeouts, an eternity in college

regardless, hopefully those morons dwell on this game for the next 10 days

Neither of those two teams is imposing. FSU is a shell of last year's team. Last night's game explains a lot about the ND game being so close

That said, I don't expect BC to beat either of them, but I feel better about the opportunity.

Hate him all you want (because he rapes people and all), but Jameis is a sick player and FSU (while not as good as last year) is still chockful of talent. On the Louisville side, I am incredibly impressed with their WR Parker and their entire D. Not impressed by their QB, OL or their running game.

FSU's offensive line is abysmal this year. That's the main difference.

The Ville's D is okay if you ignore some major lapses. The FSU rushing TD that put them ahead was an abysmal play. Give the ball back, one play, game over.

That play was the result of one of the worst tackle attempts ever... it wasn't unlike Rouse's non-catch against Clemp. That should've been a 3-yard gain. That said, I think FSU was scoring on that drive regardless. In fact, I thought the quick score played into The Ville's hands in that they had an eternity to get a scoring drive together. But, FSU's D (which was cracked open by ND) stiffened.

Beyond the FSU Oline (which is definitely worse than last year), I think FSU's D is very, very spotty. When focused, they can dominate. But, they seem in need of ritalin.

Agree that their D is erratic - NCSU early is a prime example. Last night, crab cakes put them in some tough spots with multiple picks, but yes, a national title D steps up.

That run wasn't the only bad breakdown last night by the Ville's D. They got some picks but they also gave up huge plays. The 70 yard TD was awful
