It strikes me that there is a lot of time left.
HJS {l Wrote}:Hate him all you want (because he rapes people and all), but Jameis is a sick player and FSU (while not as good as last year) is still chockful of talent. On the Louisville side, I am incredibly impressed with their WR Parker and their entire D. Not impressed by their QB, OL or their running game.
twballgame9 {l Wrote}:The Ville's D is okay if you ignore some major lapses. The FSU rushing TD that put them ahead was an abysmal play. Give the ball back, one play, game over.

That play was the result of one of the worst tackle attempts ever... it wasn't unlike Rouse's non-catch against Clemp. That should've been a 3-yard gain. That said, I think FSU was scoring on that drive regardless. In fact, I thought the quick score played into The Ville's hands in that they had an eternity to get a scoring drive together. But, FSU's D (which was cracked open by ND) stiffened.
Beyond the FSU Oline (which is definitely worse than last year), I think FSU's D is very, very spotty. When focused, they can dominate. But, they seem in need of ritalin.
