1. Show us that an extra week's preparation is more than enough to allow Brown's defense to hold up their part of the bargain;
2. Let the offensive staff know that putting the ball in the hands of a fleet footed athlete despite his diminutive size is not a bad thing;
3. Let those who should be most able to perform, like 5th year OL men play like this game means their final chance for a bowl game

Zero talent on the field on defense. Can't have high school LBs out there early in the game on 3rd and 11 getting juked by a guy that runs slower than Tom Brady

That was a huge missed tackle. Change the entire tone of the game. Three and out there and a TD and this terrible wuffie team folds up tent and goes home.

I know everyone loves to shit on don brown. But he can't be evaluated until he has somewhat of a talented defense on the field. We lack talent and depth at every position. Thanks

This argument would be valid if Brown adjusted his schemes to his talent even a little.

Not only did the defense give up the 7, they were on the field for 13 plays and a lot of that was an up-tempo offense in 4:17. If Day starts to shit the bed this defense could give up 40-50 easily.

And yes that missed Strachan tackle changes the entire complexion of the game.
