Seyi Adebayo

Seyi had a great sack on Saturday, I was excited to see he is going to compete this year. Totally one of those under-the-radar guys the staff got onto the team and should make BC a better squad.

Serious question, how is he eligible?

He was class of 2009 and was on the Columbia roster in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Are you allowed two "Redshirt" years? I thought it was just one.

Is there a regular redshirt and an additional medical redshirt?

Asking for a friend.

You can have a regular redshirt and then apply for a medical one also. The rare 6th year.

On rare occasions, players may be allowed to play in their sixth year of college—if they suffered a serious injury that kept them from playing for more than one season. Former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Jason White is perhaps the best known example of this, as he had redshirted his freshman year, then subsequently tore the ACL in both knees, causing him to miss nearly two years of eligible playing time. A more recent example is former Houston Cougars quarterback Case Keenum, formerly of the Houston Texans. His story is similar to that of White; Keenum redshirted his freshman year of 2006, and then tore an ACL three games into the 2010 season, which would have otherwise been his final year of eligibility.

This was fantastic, thanks.

What great news, this means that we will probably have Troy Flutie for two years at QB instead of just one after Wade leaves.

Could the 2018 game against Holy Cross get any better?
