its gonna be two suckfests with notre dame on the books at fenway. will be nice to get in essence 8 home games again though. really helps a young team.

that said, I really hope bates & co. realized the importance of playing big time teams in terms of exposure & buzz it generates.

its too bad we have the same colors as SC bc there were TONS of bc fans out there last year (myself included). while I get theres slim to no chance theyd ever add an sec school, a rotation of usc/ucla/Stanford would be great for the school imo

also not to go on a schedule rant (to go along with tailgating questions and lax becoming a varsity sport), but in echoing someone else's thoughts, we should have army on an ongoing 2-for-1 schedule. would rather play them than anyone north of the mason Dixon line east of happy valley.

I expect that URI or a similar northeast FCS team will end up on the 2015 schedule. The fourth non-conference game will probably resemble the Colorado State game on the schedule this year. I don't think it's going to be any team that moves the needle for us.

Yes, they need to go to California more often.

Like the Army idea, but recent challenges of scheduling them are well-documented.

Plus, he's busy.

The offense will be 75-85% run this week, with a few passes interspersed. Daz will not get away from what he believes the strength of the team is/will be....With 3 running backs (4 if you count Alston) we will run all day long...he is prepping for the ball control/clock control games he will need later on down the schedule.

By the way, anyone else interested to see Sherm running back kick-offs? Is Daz afeard he might get clobbered on a run back?

How would losing to a Division 1-AA team be a "very BC thing to do?"

When was the last time BC lost to a D1-AA team? I think their only loss to a team from that subdivision was the very first year they had that subdivision (1978) and they didn't even beat any Division 1-A teams that year either.

BC beats #1 UNC in basketball. Follows it up with a blowout loss at home to Harvard.

Its hyperbole. After we beat WVU, did anyone expect us to shit the bed against Diamond Ferri and the Orangemen. We wont lose to a 1AA team but we were known for the WTF loss.

nc state plays fsu then the clemson in the 2 weeks before they play us. nc state will be dismantled by both programs and i expect will be all but done for the year.

starting your season against 4 shit programs does a great job of generating excitement among the fan base and potentially even gets you noticed on a nationalish stage... but once the shit opponent stream runs dry and turns into shitting the bed against real opponents, the boat capsizes real fast

even i know that, and i don't even like sports
now in the street there is violence

i did not, sit in the upper deck above the band in the former land of tedwardo so not ideal for field rushing. still on a bum ankle & leg, not walking too well so tough to get around (if you see someone hobbling around in whalepants & an ankle brace it's probably me)
