My guess is that Colombo will get the job by virtue of his strong connection with Jason Garrett and the fact that DeGuglielmo, while being considered one of the best technique teachers in the NFL, is considered to be a bit of an asshole (the politically correct term used was “voicing strong opinions” about the overall offense). Judge and DeGuglielmo did work together for two years on the Patriots.
