Putting aside the fact that the NFL HOF is a joke.
Are you suggesting that he does not belong? I feel like he's accomplished a lot over his career despite at times not having an OL.

Stats in post-Bill Polian throwing a hissy fit because his teams were soft NFL are markedly different than the prior ~40 years. Hell, even the last 5 years are markedly different than 10 years ago.

After some wikipedia research, I have diagnosed to the Giants' problem to be that they have not consistently had a Boston College player on the active roster since 2016 (Mark Herzlich).

In 2016, with Mark Herzlich on the roster, the Giants went 11-5. They went 3-13 the next year. In 2018, with Kam Moore on the active roster they went 5-11. This year, well speaks for itself.

John Mara would do himself well to find an Eagle to place on the roster.

It's the right move but likely too late. I fully expect him to be a poster child for CTE in the future, as much as it sucks to state that.

Looks like two guys with BC connections are the final two candidates for the Giants OL Coach—Marc Colombo and Dave DeGuglielmo, who coached at BC under Tom Coughlin. My guess is that Colombo will get the job by virtue of his strong connection with Jason Garrett and the fact that DeGuglielmo, while being considered one of the best technique teachers in the NFL, is considered to be a bit of an asshole (the politically correct term used was “voicing strong opinions” about the overall offense). Judge and DeGuglielmo did work together for two years on the Patriots.

Yeah they kept Izzo which probably means they are going to target a released veteran that can block. They also kept 10 linemen and a FB so I see a lot of big formations. Didnt need another pass catching TE.

Not surprising Judge is building back to front. Usually easier and cheaper that finding 4 pass rushers.
