Maybe not; reports today say injury is not season-ending so hopefully just a bone bruise or an mcl or lcl with meniscus that a quick scope and 4-6 weeks off will fix.

Isaiah McDuffie made the Packers. Max Richardson was cut by the Raiders.

A sixth-round pick this year, McDuffie missed the first half of training camp with a hamstring injury, then came on like a freight train to win a roster spot. He was excellent in the preseason finale at Buffalo to force his way onto the team as the fifth inside linebacker.

“Feels great,” he said after collecting nine tackles vs. the Bills. “It’s a lot of just staying-in-it mentally. So, when I got back, I was able to hit it full steam ahead. I feel like that was a big factor, taking it one day at a time. Just anticipating when I get back being able to do what I have to do.”

any chance we can stop with the glass Phil to the nfl discussions? Unless the nfl legalizes the bounce pass, it is a ridiculous statementat Hansen’s level of retarded

He is currently the 6th highest rated draft eligible QB. He has NFL size. He has admitted his hand is not 100% and won’t be for a long time to explain away the bounce pass. The possibility of losing both Phil and Zay is very real.

well if that happens, I hope whatever team they wind up with (north or south of the border) are as understanding/apathetic about their results as the boston college “faithful”

This is the worst QB year in recent memory. The 6th QB off the board will be lucky to be drafted in round 5.

With all due respect to the litany of Jurk Watch inside info, I have a feeling real ND fans are perfectly content with the QB play they’ve enjoyed over the past 2-years as compared to ours.

I am pretty sure ND fans are perfectly content with all of Notre Dame's play at every position over the last 3 or 4 years.

This week’s opponent knows damn well that Jurk’s bounce passing ability is a real threat.

If they could win 9 games with Carson Wentz I expect Matt to win them 3-4 more and make them playoff contenders. Looks like Indy needs to shore up their defense.

They lost a ton of talent on the OL. If they draft like 3 OL and they hit, yes. If not, Ryan won't see game 8.

Ryan Poles and the Bears have had a peculiar off-season. They have lost pretty much any contributor from last year. Don’t have their own draft pick. Have near unlimited cap space and a QB in a Year 2 of his rookie deal (though he already has the feel of previous tOSU QB busts). It is a bizarre hodgepodge.
