speaking of... any further update on billy? when faced with a qb that's can't throw a forward pass; does he think about declaring a medical redshirt to wait for a quarterback that may be able to throw a forward pass

Murphy is an adequate passer... The Oline, and the fact a D can take away Phillips and leave us counting on Bordner isn't going to cut it...

BC got Zed treatment in the trenches on both sides of the ball. The remaining problems are irrelevant as long at that is the case, as it will be this weekend.

This may be true, but the game is not played in a vacuum. Sarkisian has to keep his team focused and ignoring the hype, which is the toughest part of that job. Sarkisian did not flourish in big spots as the favorite in Washington. He's got his work cut out for him. Again, not saying USC will lose, but they're going to look more like they did in Week 2 than Week 1.

BC comes to play this week and in pure WTF fashion keeps the game close until towards the end of three when USC pulls away to win by 14 or so
