The depth chart is updated as of today. Here are some notes:

(1) Murphy is on pace to throw for 1473 yards, 9 TD, and 15 INT ..... and run for 1500 yards and 15 TD

(2) Hilliman leads all running backs in carries (52) yards (241) and TD (4).

(3) Josh Bordner is the leading receiver with 154 yards and 2 TD.

(4) Steven Daniels leads the team in tackles with 21, and is only on pace for 62, which would be extremely low for a BC leading tackler.

(5) Josh Keyes is on pace for 22.5 TFL and 9 sacks, leading the team in both categories.

(6) Freshman yet to have their redshirt burned:

QB: Troy Flutie
RB: Richard Wilson
TE: Tom Sweeney
RT: James Hendran
DE: Austin Stevens
DE: Kevin Cohee
DE: Joe Vitiello
OLB: Kevin Bletzer
CB: Allen Dawson
SS: Cam Seward
K: Mike Knoll

A poster on TOS said that Baker played in the 4thQ. I could see the smoke from Beacon Street.

Based on the participation chart, it seems that we burned a few redshirts unnecessarily. Specifically: Cohee (only played against USC), Nat Dixon (only played against USC and Maine) and Noa Merritt (only played against Maine and NCS),

I don't know... maybe. You really can't redshirt your back-up. I personally would like to see Wade get more run than he has. I guess the games have been too close. But, Daz needs to find time for him if any of these next 3 games get out of hand.

Actually, a player that probably should have been redshirted is Richard Wilson. Only played in 3 games and is decidedly outside of the current rotation of Willis-Hilliman-Outlow-Rouse.

is there any chance we'll need one of the players that we declared a red-shirt for? so far we've been fairly lucky but at this point in the season you have to start worrying about the declarations
now in the street there is violence
and, and a lots of work to be done
no place to hang out our washing
and, and i can't blame all on the sun
good god we gonna rock down to electric avenue
and then we'll take it higher

I think the trend in college football is to redshirt less and less. Players are coming out of high school ready to play, which means, obviously, that they are ready to play, but it also means that if they are not good enough right away they are more likely than in the past to ever be good enough. This will be less true at certain position groups (OL and QB), but overall, more true freshman are going to be playing.

Perhaps, but all three of those guys have seen the field.

I can only assume that Dixon has not played much since then because his blocking isn't developed enough for Daz's liking. He looked pretty fast and athletic against USC.
Coach hard. Love hard.

I know Dixon and Merritt have played. Did you see Cohee on the field against USC? Also, as our 4th DT, Merritt has played a lot (more than 2 games shown on the inaccurate chart); I would not say that his redshirt was burned unnecessarily.

I don't actually care if they burn redshirts at all, and agree on Merritt. I feel like I saw Cohee play, but I could be completely wrong. Dixon definitely played.

Cohee is listed on the game participation report on the USC site - looks like they are sourced from the same place. He has no stats from that game, but it felt like everyone played that night - Lezzer had a sack.

That said, Wade is listed for that game. My recollection is that he did not play. So yes, they are inaccurate.
