Callinan was excellent all day. Murphy is a real nice guy.

Duggan, Kavalec and Milano will be good contributors on defense. Cottrell dropping into coverage off the line was an interesting sight, considering he came in as an LB.

Murphy is solid and should work out very well.

Willis and Keyes were the standouts in my mind. I expect Duggan to clean up like he did. Keyes needs to play an Akins role. Lines were inconsistent. There were absolutely zero plays up the middle. Everything was a rollout or off the edge.

Wade had better form than I thought, but he's tiny. WRs had trouble getting open as expected.

I'd say there was closer to 1,800 people there. Our hoops team needs some proactiv.

Handing out rosters was a nice touch. Wish there was more swag at the clearance sale like years back.

Yes. To me he and willis were by far the two best players in the field.

Agreed with all points, especially on Murphy. The WR core minus Callahan was beyond bad. My fear is that Murphy has no one to throw to when the season starts. Thought the OLine was pretty good, especially the starters.

Better than expected really, it didn't look like the train-wreck I was expecting

I think the hope for WRs is Swigert, Callinan, and one or two freshman step up.

This. They looked good other than WR. Pretty even play and Murphy was very good. Murphy also liked my Whalers hat, being from the CT

Murphy was dynamic. Looks like a great option for next year. I disagree that wade is tiny. He is same height as Murphy at 6-2 and stronger. He has a MUCH stronger arm than Murphy. Maybe too strong right now. He's so excited he was firing the ball around. Could have taken a little off and probably would have thrown for 2 TD's. Given that the kid probably has like 18 practices under his belt I was really impressed and will cut him a huge amount of slack.

It's awesome having Murphy. If he can stay healthy and Darius can take the year to catch up to the game and develop his body, look out.

Of course, if we don't find some receivers it doesn't matter how well these guys can throw the ball........

No sign of Swigert today. And Jackson on crutches with a knee issue?

Little is no longer on the roster and was not seen on the sideline today. A poster on TOS said he is all done, another victim of concussions.
Zoungrana has been moved to SS or FS.

Milano definitely bulked up to 215 or so. Looked good at LB

At the positions that looked bad, we have help on the way. Moore played well on the DL. Would've liked to see Landry play. If we can figure out the mess that is the secondary, the front 7 will be decent. Keyes is my fav player, the move he threw on Siberman the last play of the first half was unfair

Yes, I also thought Wade was pretty good size, especially for someone who should still be in high school. Willis definitely put on some muscle and looked great. Callinan was a pleasant surprise. Not sure about his speed, but with his hands and size, I'm hopeful he can be a reliable target for Murphy. They seemed to have developed a little chemistry already.

no. Barksdale, Callinan and Dudeck were the only normal WRs out there.
