KPL is really performing. 4.41 and 4.44 unofficially and 28 on the bench after coming in at a higher weight than expected. He may get drafted now.

KPL was the top performing LB in both bench and 40. He'll have no trouble getting drafted as he has good film and assume is a great interview. My guess is 4th or 5th round.

As for top performers, Aaron Donald is the Keuchly of the DLine. Guy has won every award known to man and no-one talks about him as a top prospect. There seemed to be doubters that were waiting for him to bomb at the combine. Instead, he ran the fastest 40 of the DTs (almost a full second ahead of Nix) and had the second best bench press (Kaleb Ramsey did one more) and was top in the cone drill. Someone is going to get a steal in the late first round/early second with this guy.

Warren K. Zola ‏@WarrenKZola 2h
With Edebali, Patchan, Pierre-Louis, Ramsey & Williams all doing well at Combine, visibility goes up for other hopefuls at BC's Pro Day.

that image reinforces my view of the nfl combine being nothing more than an elementary school "field day"

More interest in the combine players means more scouts at BC's Pro Day means more exposure for non-combine invites at BC's Pro Day.

One year I'd like to see a chimpanzee or a gorilla participate, just to see how humanity's best athletes really stack up. It's important to know if Planet of the Apes is a real possibility.

I think it is a little bit unfair that the Giraffe or the Zebra didn't get an interview.

Yup Alex was invited to Combine, but turned it down as he wants to join the US Navy and be a Seal.

Here is the article about Alex hoping to become a Navy SEAL.

Anyone know someone who didn't make it through the training? I always wondered about those guys....you sign up to become a warrior and then you end up doing...what? I think they end up doing whatever the Navy needs at the time like cooks, etc.

Is there an age limit on being a Navy Seal? Couldn't he try to make an NFL roster for a year, then join if he fails?

I believe the limit is 28 as of entry into the program, but I also believe it's fairly clear this is just what he wanted to do, not something he's doing because he didn't think he'd make a roster.

So AW improved on his 40 time from the combine at pro day yesterday. 29 scouts turned out to watch him, KPL, Patchan and Ramsey. Freese also got a "tryout" with the Colts' special teams coach. More here.
