Yes. It was also based on the curb stomping that NCSU took over the last 7 quarters. 90-17 over 7 quarters.

BC should be a 3 or 4 point favorite and would be if they hadn't choked like dogs last weekend.

BC runs the ball too much to get beat that bad and they won't get shut out by either. They will lose both, but neither will be that bad.

They have horrible fans and play 40 minutes away from campus. Not a good mix.

I don't understand why Miami and Pitt have opted to play in NFL stadiums. Pitt should have renovated their stadium instead of demolishing it years ago.

BC has crappy attendance, but I'd still rank Alumni Stadium as a middle-of-the-pack venue in the ACC ahead of Miami, Pitt, Duke, Wake Forest and perhaps Syracuse.

wow Vtech on offense looks shockingly poorly coached, tons of stupid penalties, and awful QB play. That game is much less daunting now than I thought it was before the season started

So I watched last night's Pitt/VT game because I like awful football. We're an inconsistent team right now, but we should be able to do well against VT. They could not stop the simple read option Pitt was running with their QB and Conner all night.

VT hasn't been good on offense in quite some time. Historically, under Beamer, VT has had great Defenses and Specials and below average offenses. The years their offense is good, they dominate. The years their offense is terrible, they are a very average team. The rare occasions their D isn't very good, they are fighting to be .500. Beamer seems to have lost a lot of his recruiting edge (UVA under London made some major in-roads in the Tidewater area... but other programs have found spotty success as well). That has really hurt VT (who has never been able to effectively recruit well out-of-state).
