2) i think that school has more uniform combos than oregon
iii) that red on yellow look Image

I could see Jeff Smith in the Sherm Alston understudy role. You could even have him run some fake reverse / bomb down the field plays because he's got the QB experience. :screamyeagle

Smith was one of the better QBs in the state of Florida, no way they put him in a "Sherman Alston role". Him and Robinson are both getting shots at QB to start

Does Jeff Smith 2.0 equal Reggie Bush 3.0 or how does this work?

Read this on BCI but Middlebury has another terrific kicker who is graduating with a year of eligibility left. I'd strongly suggest we explore that option

Middlebury's kicker went 4 for 6 with a long of 33 and missed 2 extra points......

I can tell how respected it is by other ACC coaches based on all the offers they gave to our recruits

If they had more Syracuse and NC State offers and if you could find them (on a shirtless boy ranking list), maybe they could be on:

i think it is a solid class. i thought we would have like 4 or 5 four stars but honestly we have a lot of good football players signed so I'm okay with it. it works well with last years class and next year we can go after like only 15 guys that are highly recruited.

BC needs to put some serious money into the facilities. They need an indoor practice facility (Brighton campus works). The stadium needs major luxury upgrades to show off to recruits. I wish they would build whatever is needed for the program to reach its potential.

On an immediate note that need to offer free parking passes on the Brighton campus with the purchase of 4 season tickets. They cannot continue to draw just 30k for most home games, that really hurts recruiting.

"I have already visited Minnesota and I will visit B.C. in January," he said. "I am looking at taking a visit to Indiana, and also Louisville and Kentucky if I pick up offers from them. I had it down to a top two of Boston College and Minnesota but with Indiana now in the picture I have an interest in them too. I should know where I want to go after I make all my trips. As of now I plan on going to B.C., but if I do take another trip you never know." - Wyatt Ray

I dont have access to the article, but he made a comment in re: to his decision

"in a week or so, maybe a little longer."

So a decision should be coming shortly. On a side note, did anything ever come of Aaron Crawfords visit a few weeks back ? I hadn't heard or read anything since

Found this tibit on ESPN:

Wilkins nearing decision

Defensive tackle Christian Wilkins stays away from the media and putting too much out there about his recruitment. He doesn't like the added attention and tries to just go about his business quietly.

His recruitment is starting to wind down now as we get close to signing day, and Wilkins is finished with his visits. He has already seen Stanford, Clemson, Penn State, Boston College and Ohio State.

"It's pretty much those five for my decision because they all have things I like. I'm definitely going to have to finalize my evaluation of them and figure out a decision in the next few weeks here," he said. "I'm just going to enjoy my time here first then think about the decision afterward."

Wilkins says his decision could come in the next week depending on how he feels, but could carry on into the week after that if he can't decide.

Playing in the Under Armour All-America game has given Wilkins the opportunity to be around some of the players committed to his top schools and those players have taken advantage of being with him in person.

"Ray Ray McCloud at Clemson and Sterling Jenkins for Penn State, they have been on me trying to recruit me," he said. "I'm just going to go with my gut and how I felt when I was there. Where I can grow intellectually and on the field."

That kid really has his shit together. He's going to be a can't miss player and a success wherever he goes.

Agreed. Would love to see him NOT go to a factory, though. I hate seeing kids with a decent head on their shoulders pick some god-awful place like tOSU. If he doesn't come to BC, I really hope he goes to Stanford.

As for this class (and incorporating the Don Brown discussion), I think think it is vital that our DLine be sound. Ray, Crawford and Wilkins all go a very long way to making that a reality (when combined with last year's haul). Missing out on all 3 would be damn near crippling (as it would mean that we would only be bringing in 2 excellent DL prospects (Landry and Smith)). On this topic, I have felt over the past 2 years that we haven't targetted enough DLinemen.

BC is the best fit for Wilkins because he can start immediately. He has a chance to be the next BJ Raji. BC is close to home, top academics and just down the road from a certain coach in Foxborough.

This article popped up about a potential kicker from Tampa area ...

Said BC has contacted, so far only offer is from ECU

They aren't beating Oregon, but making the National Title game will likely have the same result. I have thought for quite a while that Wilkins was a lost cause. At this point, it is a reason why I am so surprised by our lacking of other targets. At this point, the focus should be on keeping a clearly waffling Wyatt Ray.

When does drop/add end for this semester? That is the Spring cutoff for early enrollees and some 5th year transfers. We can get more 5th years in the summer though (like Shakim and Adebayo).

You act like Oregon didn't have anything to do with those points. Every team makes mistakes in a game... the best make you pay. Oregon was gifted 7-points after Jameis'-butt-fumble-RKO moment. Otherwise, Oregon deserves credit for marching the ball down the field (or in some occasions going 60-yards in a couple of plays). It should be noted that tOSU was also the beneficiary of a terrible Pick-6 that essentially ended the game (stopped a promising Bama drive and gave them the insurmountable 2-TD lead).

Reports out of Houston on EA say Wilkins will decide tomorrow and that rumors sound promising (although nothing concrete/definite). This is from a random poster so it's very much take it FWIW.
