Kind of reminds me of Schiano hitting FL hard, just without all the pedo stuff.

Would be nice if this did anything with other guys at Aquinas. Chris Hart has an offer and a really impressive offer sheet at LB (and has been mentioned linked to BC in past articles). Rowland tweeted that Wyatt Ray was supposed to go to Kentucky this week with Damon Armette as well (a DB with very solid offer list). Aquinas has so many guys with multiple D1 offers hopefully this helps with other positions.

Spaz restarted the pipeline by recruiting the long snapper Skubal. We really should give him more credit. /end sarcasm

It's nice, the class is nearing being full, so the staff can put the press on some of the top targets and say, you gotta commit or your out of luck.

Hope it works out well for us.

The most impressive thing about this class is that BC has re-connected w/the traditional feeder high schools and opened some doors at some new powerhouses. You cannot underestimate the value of good relationships w/the high school coaching staffs. This will bear fruit for the future. Also, Addazio's messaging appears consistent and deliverable: great education, great school and, most uniquely, a community that doesn't operate like a state school football factory. I've never seen the term "family" appear in so many interviews of commitments as w/BC's commits-that plays to BC's values and overcomes some of the current facility obstacles that will eventually be remedied. Now just add that last piece of this class, a great DT or two and then focus on the season. Looking forward to the season and all the best to the GCL commits.

Ray is a fantastic recruit and is somewhat in the mold of Landry (at least in size). Our D recruits remind every much of VaTech. Tons of interchangeable, athletic players.

In addition to restocking the roster with athletes, Daz & Co. has done a great job recruiting Catholic Schools throughout the country... which is what many have been begging previous staffs to do.

If our D looks like VT I'd be thrilled

Not surprising that we're Increasingly bumping into VA Tech on recruiting trail. Tanner Kamar, Yiadom, K. Moore are a few I recall. Brown's blitz happy scheme is very similiar to that of Bud Foster.

Though I hear Brown's system and recruiting focus is most similiar Rich Rod's stack & attack defense. The good news is that Arizona's "undersized" defense was equally effective at stuffing both the power games of BC/Stanford and fast spread offense of Oregon. It's hard to imagine how our current recruits will grow into a full functional defense, but I trust Brown to deliver in two years.

It's time for BC to offer Simeon Lane (DT at STX)-this kid is projected to break STX's tackling record this season.

Devine Ozigbo (RB from Sachse, TX) will announce on July 22nd. BC in final 8 (he is originally from Massachusetts) along with Iowa, Wisconsin, Boise, Kansas, Miss St, Iowa St and Kansas State. The 247 prediction thing says Iowa

Wisconsin has also offered Jake Pickard, not sure where they are on his list. Will be attending Friday Night Lights at OSU later this month and should an offer come will most likely biggest biggest competition for him.

TGOSB has run out of shit to talk about so he has been releasing various top 10 lists on twitter for different things. His most recent one, Top 10 most surprising recruiting teams this cycle, he just listed BC #5 (with 6-10 consisting of UNC, TCU, UMD, Wiscy, and WVU)

I'm assuming that came out after he posted "Top 10 recruits with the most fluid hips", "Top 10 recruits with the softest hands", and "Top 10 locker rooms that are easiest to sneak into". :chewbanka
