There was NO math involved, the only reasoning is that 11.43 100 is not even close to lightning fast. 4.39 40 IS lightning fast. Even if all his speed is in his initial acceleration, there is no way he could cover that difference. There is even a track coach on here to confirm. Sorry for any confusion

I've been patiently waiting for my expertise to come in handy.
I like to follow recruiting and found the board about a year ago. When the news is slow you guys more then make up for it with the entertainment factor.

I coached a kid in MA that ran 10.70's and 21.60's auto timed and he could only muster a 40 of 4.2 hand timed, which would convert to a 4.44.
All the recruiting camps and high school football coaches that rely on hand times (or averaging hand times of multiple timers) are just lying to the athletes to give them a better impression of the schools or trying to get more money out of kids for camps and services.

If you put him in a 100m race with Jet Smith he could probably keep up for the first couple of seconds then he'd get smoked from that point on.
Ran against Jet Smith. Kid had one of the worst starts in the state but had the best top end speed. You could be ahead of him for the first 30m of a race and by the time you were at 80m he was at the finish.
Scary to think how good he would have been if he ever got the first 30 meters of a track race down.

This is the second year in a row that Robinson has beaten out Wimbush for an award. Between him, Jeff Smith and Wade... Daz has done a damn good job bringing in legit dual threat QB prospects (which was a concern pretty much everyone had when he was hired).

A legitimate 300 pounder who was grabbing rebounds above the rim, beating kids who weigh 100 pounds less than him up the court, and manhandling a 6'10" center guarding him on the low block. He finished with a double-double and was one of the best players on the court, when there were probably 6 to 8 D1 players on the floor at any given time. Aside from being a Day 1 starter, he would have been one of the most dominant intramural bball players in BC history.
