Also, CT running back Marcus Outlaw followed up his first offer from BC with quick offers from UConn and tOSU. Now I am under no illusions that Daz will beat out schools like OSU with any sort of regularity, but I would like to see him do it some percent of the time. A running back from CT seems about as in Daz's wheelhouse as it gets.

I by no means am on the Dazzling Bandwagon, but at least this beats offering guys and then them getting offers from powerhouses like Toledo and Memphis.....

EA mentioned BC hosted a top target on an unofficial last week. That visit was Connor Strachan.

they offered another 2014 dual threat QB, Zack Darlington (offers from Arizona, Va Tech, NC State)

Not sure if it was mentioned here, but offered the other day was S Allen Artis. Offers from Mississippi State, UNC, WF, GT.

Just saw on twitter that BC offered 2014 QB Alin Edouard (Hialeah, FL). EA lists his only other major offer as Ole Miss but also lists an article saying he recently received a Miami offer and is 90% going to commit there assuming that is true.

Chris Nee was the guy who retweeted it, hes worth a follow for Florida based recruiting stuff.

I agree that there is no credit to be given for trying and that results are the bottomline but one thing that drove me up the wall with Spazoo was that his laziness and incompetence meant we were never in early on anybody.

This is a flawed metric for many reasons but I remember always being appalled by the number of offers at any given time when Spaz was the coach, conversely the Addazzio has 60 2014 offers listed on EA. For comparison's sake Rutgers has 69, Pitt has 51, Penn State 43, UConn 35, Syracuse 38. Based on memory from last year Spaz would have about 30 right now.

I am happy we are not way behind in evaluations and offers early anymore. Now, obviously, he needs to sign people.

I agree with this. While things like "trying" and "not throwing in the towel at the sign of another BCS offer" should not be applauded, after Spaz they are refreshing. More specifically, I agree with you that it seems like Daz is not playing catch up at all for 2014. This isn't totally surprising given he was already recruiting that class for Temple, but is nice nonetheless.

Pretty much, it seems like there have been 10+ new offers today.

Specifically, there have been 8 offers announced today: Antoine White, Alex Huard, Zack Darlington, D.J. Gillins, Trevon Lee, Garrett Johnson, Marcus Allen and Clayton Thorson.

Might as well throw out a ton of offers. I'm assuming the 2014 class is going to be pretty sizable, right?

This staff isn't like the old staff and that's why I thought you can't judge until the 2014 class they are going to be aggressive and be all over kids. This class will be good. Huard and Lee have had offers for a while but the others are new. They aren't backing down to anyone.
