Cliff notes on that video of Googer.
Who's your favorite: They all are.
Who are you going to visit: List of SEC schools (no mention of BC here)
Who's recruiting you the hardest: BC, and at QB instead of WR like everyone else.
Who's a darkhorse: Louisville 'cuz they can beat an SEC team.

In summation - I'm going to play in the SEC but BC gets an "A" for effort.

With all that said, it's a far cry from the previous regime's attitude which had them giving up on these types of kids before right out of the gates. To me, it's just a matter of time before you actually steal one or two of them.

not coming off a 2-10 season can only help. they need to win.

Outlow will be at BC tomorrow as well as Harold Cooper and Irvin Phillips. Both of them are also CT RBs. Cooper has speed to burn don't know too much about Phillips. Cooper recently ran a 6.42 in the 55 meter which is insanely fast.

John Thomas was also on campus today. James Walsh has been there this weekend as well. Also believe Shamir Bearfield from St Peter's Prep was on campus too.

Henderson isn't coming here. He is going to the Elite 11 camp and has been visiting most of the big boys (Alabama, Michigan State, etc.)

Would be shocked if he came here. Besides, I don't think he is a dual threat. Has great size and a strong arm, but is not the fastest QB.

Isaac Yiadom got his BC offer today. He also may have a VT offer and figures to end up one of those two places.

A little bit OT, but what are the ramifications of someone transferring from Notre Dame with their new arrangement with the ACC ?

Does Notre Dame simply say where they can or can not go or do the general rules of not being allowed to transfer within a conference apply now that they are kind of in the ACC.

FWIW, theyve had a few guys (both WR I believe) declare for transfer (Davonte Neal recently and Justin Ferguson today). Neal had a BC offer (I think it was one of his earlier ones) but also had offers from everywhere in the country so he wasnt coming here and Ferguson was a 3* guy from Florida with some big offers.

OG Quenton Nelson

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound prospect visited Boston College this past weekend, his first visit since the season ended. Immediately upon arriving, Nelson was greeted by new Eagles coach Steve Addazio and new athletics director Brad Bates.

Nelson liked that Bates has a strong football background -- he walked on at Michigan before eventually earning a scholarship from Bo Schembechler.

“He shared with me the vision of how he and Coach Addazio plan to bring BC back to where it was, competing for ACC championships,” Nelson said. “I thought it was great the new AD and new coach are coming in together and share the same plan.”

Addazio hired Justin Frye to be the Eagles' offensive line coach, and Frye played for Addazio at Indiana. But Addazio does not need much help when it comes to working with offensive linemen. He is a former offensive line coach himself, which appeals to Nelson.

“He can definitely help me a lot if I go there,” Nelson said. “The great thing about having a head coach as an offensive line coach is you have two coaches. They preach the same thing. Coach Addazio is definitely an offensive line guy.”

The next visit for Nelson comes Wednesday, when he leaves for Columbus. Ohio State coach Urban Meyer and O-line coach Ed Warinner have visited Nelson several times at his high school, but Nelson has yet to make it to the OSU campus.

“I’d like to see the facilities and talk with the academic staff, get a better feel for Coach Warinner and Coach Meyer and talk to them and see the campus,” Nelson said.

Next week, Nelson will visit Northwestern (Apr. 4) and Notre Dame (Apr. 6). The Wildcats have offered, but Notre Dame is still evaluating Nelson. There is a chance an offer will come on the visit, as Nelson talks frequently with offensive line coach Harry Hiestand and regional recruiter Bob Diaco. Both of the coaches have expressed significant interest in Nelson and are thrilled he will finally make it to campus.

Nelson said an offer from Notre Dame would be a big one for him, as the university presents the best of both the academic and athletic worlds.

“They've got the best of everything: facilities, program, alumni, network, really good coaching staff, academics, campus,” Nelson said. “It’s a really great school.”

Nearby Rutgers will host Nelson for a visit the weekend of Apr. 13, and he will follow that up with a visit to Penn State on Apr. 20. He could visit Duke and North Carolina in May, and he also would like to get out to Vanderbilt and Stanford.

Interest from VT and Michigan according to rivals page.

Looks like a solid athlete. Nice burst on the punt return halfway through this short tape.

this is a pretty good get precisely because its the kind of recruit Spazoo would ignore until November or so at which point said recruit would feel ignored and commit to an out of state school.

FWIW I think we're taking him as a DB. I think he seems like a very solid player and a good get by Daz. Hopefully Daz can use Outlow and him to get some momentum going up to and through the spring game.

He was recently saying that VT was his dream school, so closing him quickly is a good sign of Daz's sales skills.
